Hi all!
Earlier today in UK Chat, I promised Shirley I'd give a review of "Lilo and Stitch" when I got back. Well .... here goes
I thought it was really good, although I enjoyed the funny films like Toy Story and Alladin better. This was an original script (not based on a book) so it was different.
It's definitely worth seeing so I don't want to give away any of the story line - if you haven't heard it already BUt here are some Disney related things to look for:
1 - Many mentions of "O'Hana" meaning family
2 - the "Mulan Wok" Chinese Restaurant
3 - Dumbo stuffed toy
4 - Mickey drawing in laundry room
5 - a scene from "It's Tough to be a Bug"
6 - A photo taken of Stitch's new family on the Disney Cruise Line
7 - Orlando Post Card featuring the Magic Kingdom
I understand there are lots more Disney sightings but these are the ones that I saw.
You have to hand it to Disney for giving all of us silly Disney-holics all of these "Hidden Disneyisms"
Lilo and Stitch are a totally different breed of the typical Disney hero/heroine! I actually gasped/laughed at some of their antics. As they say, "There's one in every family!"
GO SEE IT

Aloha,
Lorraine
