 Hi, everyone.

I had just received my order from www.vitalchek.com for copies of two birth certificates to use in place of a passport on the December 5th Wonder cruise.

I was surprised to see that they did not include a raised seal. I thought that it was necessary for some reason. Then I checked my Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line, and it said that the birth certificates had to have a raised seal or colored paper.

Well sure enough, the paper is colored like a paycheck or some other company check with a copy of my birth certificate on it.

I love my Passporter for Disney Cruise book. It seems to have all the answers to all the questions that I have.

37 more days until my very first cruise on the Disney Wonder.

The birthcertificates do differ from state to state as far as having a raised seal.

We did sweat it last timewith my Mother-inlaws birth certificate. As you may expect she is considerably older than I am, she was born in a very rural area the early part of this century. Her orginal birthcertificate she has looks very differnt than anything around today. But, it is a birth certificate.

LOL ... I have to admit, I was thinking something juicy was found out when you got the bc. Too many soap operas for me. lol
