Yikes, I've got three days until we go, and I haven't started packing yet. I've got about a thousand mental lists reeling around, but haven't managed to do anything about them yet
I'd really like to start packing too - but I've got another 3 months to wait!
Realistically speaking, I also know that I will still be dithering about what to take until about 3 minutes before we leave - which will probably be about 3 hours after we had planned to!
I leave in 6 days and have piles of things all lists all over the house however I can guarantee we will get to Dover and realise we've forgotton something very important... I wonder how believable it would be if I accidently left one of the kids!!!

I always forget at least 1 thing and I'm never happy until I know what it is.Normally it is something minor but I once packed all the equipment for a Scout camp and remembered everything apart from a tent for me - luckily I was close enough to go back and get one as I was the only female on site!
haha thats me! There is always things that suddenly pop into my head halfway down the motorway!
The right hand side of my stairs is currently stacked with odds and ends to be packed into the car this weekend however I have a 5 month old baby I have to carry down the stairs and it is a tad tricky! I wouldnt mind but packing for him is like a military operation on its own!
Cool about the scouts, I was a member from 11 until 18 and best time of my life, wish I could go back and help out but with 3 kids its just never possible. Were relocating in Sept and Iv promised to get my 2 eldest (7&5) in as soon as we move!
