I'm working on a "thesis" type report that's due tomorrow and I just looked at the "properties" of the Word document. So far I'm up to 1718 minutes!

I knew that I've put a lot into it, but to see it in writing that's a whole heck of a lot, and that's just been one portion of this project. I know the 1718 is going to rise quite a bit still as it's going to be a very late night finishing it up, but wow... over 28 hours already just on the report portion in the past week or so.

Well I guess I'd better get back to work. :p

I sure hope so, Michele and Tracy! :) It's worth 50% of the final mark of a FIVE credit hour course (3 is the normal weight) so this is a huge project. I've put sooooooooooo much into it... though it's starting to look daunting how much I still have to do. I'm done the "bulk" of the report which is coming in at 31 pages, but I still have all the extra sections like the Executive Summary, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, Table of Contents, List of Illustrations, and all those types of formal report sections, LOL, before I can get copies printed and bound. Phew! Not to mention all the other school stuff I have to do for tomorrow.

Ok, the sound of all that work is starting to scare me, LOL.... back to work it is! :p

You'll do great! Now get back to work! :teeth:

Go Lynne, go!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Make copies, SAVE OFTEN!!! The first research project I did with just typing it onto Word I managed to get a damaged disk and lost a lot of work. I used to always write it out then type it but I wanted to save time.

Oh my! I just realized that I have to add all the versions together to get the total time spent on it... and it comes to 74.8 HOURS!!! Oh my goodness. No wonder I'm so tired!

It's going to be a loooong night...

HaHa, I feel your pain soooooooooo much. Tomorrow is the final day for everything in all my classes. I have finished up everything but an exam in one class that I am reading the material for now. I will not be going to sleep this evening, and I will be taking the exam at about 7:00 this morning, Tuesday (if all goes well). I took two exams yesterday, ugh......Fortunately the huge paper I had due, for another class, was done last Monday. Made it in just on the deadline. Submitted the text via email and then priority mailed a hard copy. That baby was about 54 pages (main text, not other pages, bio, cover.....) and it barely fit into the envelope to mail it. Got to love the Profs. that let you finish early. One Prof. let us have our final assignment due last Monday so that we could focus on the holidays and our other classes. Of course that same Prof. has been pretty much MIA this whole semester, and we have been working alone with little to no guidence as it was.

Good Luck! I know that I have produced some of my best work under the pressure of a fast approaching deadline. Yanking the last pages out of the printer as I sprinted out the door! I am sure you will get a grade deserving of the effort you obviously put into the work!

LOL Disney845... yes, that is exactly it, LOL!!!!! (So far my report is at 40 pages and counting, LOL.) The problem is it's never just one thing, but sixty gazillion (well at least 6 ;) ) things all at once.

Good luck to you preparing for your exam in the morning! Hope it goes really well! What is it in?

Isn't that the truth. I was such a bad girl this weekend. I was supposed to study for one of the tests on Friday, but I went after thanksgiving shopping, then I was supposed to study for the one I didn't do on friday, plus another one on saturday, but I spent the day shopping, and then went to a movie (James Bond), then I was supposed to study for the other two plus a third on sunday, but then some friends got tickets to the Colts game so we went to that, and then went to a bar/restaurant kinda place for a few hours, then back to a friends house for awhile and I didn't get home till early Monday morning. So now I have been up alllllllllllllllllllllll day alternating between studying for and taking tests! :( It is my own fault of course.........It also always seems that you have nothing interesting that you want to do until your time should be spent on doing school work. I rarely spend two days in a row shopping (although I would love to spend all of my days shopping!!!!) and this is the first time we have gotten tickets to see the Colts, but most of the time I don't have any obligations. Why can't Profs schedule important stuff on your boring days?

The last exam that I have to take is in my Organized Crime class. Earlier today I had exams in Crime and the Media and Serial Murder. Boy will I be glad when they are done. No school work for a month. I don't know if it is fortunate or unfortunate that I have already scheduled my classes for next semester! ARGH!!!!

YES! Exactly!!!! I have been asked to do things more often in the past 3 days than in the past month practically, and I keep having to say no! They don't like it because they keep getting told no, and I don't like it because I keep having to say no, LOL! Out of the last 8 offers I could only accept one, and I really should probably have stayed home working then, but I have to have a *little* bit of a life at least, LOL.

LOL, this commiserating is good for the soul! :p :p :p (Again, much better than working, LOL ;) )

;) I have massive amounts of reading to do (did I mention that I read none of the chapters before the test? I know, I know, bad girl) so I better get off to it. I am heading to the kitchen for a cold refreshing wild cherry pepsi. We can periodically check in on each other's progress to make sure neither of us has fallen asleep and smacked our foreheads into the keyboard, drooling all over the spacebar and rendering it useless!

o.k. drool check came back negative, all clear. Did someone mention being sleepy? :o (the smiley says he is embarassed, but I think he looks more like he is yawning) Thats me yawning away! Ah to be in a nice cozy warm bed....................just have to stay alert for a few more hours to finish this and then I can sleep the afternoon away!

Oooh... now I'm jealous, I want to sleep tomorrow afternoon! I have to keep going right through to tomorrow night, I have an in-class group test from 2:30 to 4:00 and a night class from 6 until 9. Ugh!!!! I'm going to be soooooooooo tired!!!

*Checks* Yeah, no drool... but my eyes are definitely drooping, and I'm starting to not care quite as much as I did 5 hours ago about perfection, LOL.

Oh wow, I feel so bad for you that you have to stay up all day after this long night. Maybe you can get a nap in there somewhere. Good luck!

That is far too much time....I think you need to spend MORE time talking to me on MSN :p
