I really need some help....

This is not about disney, but I really need help with this. I took my dog Sophi to Petsmart to get groomed. She is a 4 lb yorkie. I waited for them to call me to come pick her up and they never called. I decided I was going to stop in and check on her. They lady asked me if I was Sophi's mom and said she had been cut and was over at the vets office. I didn't really know what to say. I just wanted to see my dog. I walked back to the vet office and they said she had been cut so bad she needed stitches and the cut was about 1in long. they had to give her all kinds of meds. It is really bad. I'm not sure what to do now. What would you do if this was your dog??

DS accidently did this with our cat, a long hair Persian Hymilian. There was a matt of hair under the tummy. Holding the matted piece, took the nip, and unfortunaly hit the skin and it opened like a zipper at 5-6 inches long. 9 pm at night. The vet said keep it covered, never bled, and bring up in the morning. We made it through the night and the cat had to have surgery to clean up and repair.

But, never a wimper, healed, only result is to hide when sissors of any kind are out. We like to clean his paws from straglers. Not so happy.
so the good news is puppy should be good as new, and I hope nothing was cut internally.

Make them pay vet of course, and I would get some life items as food and grooming items for home. A nice bed to heal on too....
I really feel bad, I know how anxious I was all night with our Kitty, freaked, scared. But the cat was so calm, it must have just ziped so fast, no pain. Like sometimes we get a cut from glass and never feel it at the time it is so razor sharp.

Now if it is a razor clipper shear, that is going to burn the doggie and have open soar for awhile. Really keep on them if that is the case. I would want to grab someone and do it to them.
How trained was the person, what percautions are taught to prevent this. I always see ads in our local paper for a groomer, they never seem to keep one.
