I am trying to run my Dreamcast and Gamecube games on my MacBook Pro.
Pros: the emulator programmes for each (Redream and Dolphin) are EXCELLENT. Fast, highly compatible, nice interfaces, free...
Cons: I haven't found a controller that actually WORKS on EITHER.
I am trying to do this to save money. To buy a modified Dreamcast plus the games on a flash drive would set me back £350. And then there's the matter of the Gamecube. By using just a controller and the free programmes, I could get away with it for about £50.
I am reaching the end of my tether. If I can't make the next controller work with my laptop, I'll just bite the bullet and buy the actual modified console. But I really hope I don't have to!
