YUCK! I think you are justified in the charge.

One of the housekeepers where I work found a little surprise yesterday- someone left a BM in the BED!! What makes people think this kind of thing is acceptable? (No kids in the room, btw, just two adults.)

He seemed surprised that I knew everything about his week here off the top of my head (dates, names, number of people etc...) I wanted to say that people that disgusting have a way of staying in your thoughts....

Isn't it funny how we remember this stuff? I can never remember where I put my car keys, but I can remember what room # people are in, how they paid, who they are with, things they said at check-in, etc! If only I could free up that brain space for other things!

That is so unbelievably disgusting! It's making me rethink ever staying in a hotel again!

And Photobear, I would have charged him for a new fridge. What if one of your future guests gets sick from e coli or something?

How disgusting can people get? Last year when we were at WDW, DH would put DD's dirty diapers in a plastic bag and then take it out to the trash can that was around the corner from our room.

If they are this lazy about not throwing diapers away on vaca, I hate to think what they do at home. EEEWWW!!!!

In all my travels I never once thought of putting a diaper in the frezzer.... quite cleaver.... gross, but it would solve the problem.

Yes, I think you did the right thing, though I would be cautious should he try a charge back with his credit card, saying you over billed him. You would win it, but there would be a 90 day hold until it was resolved.

If you have a way to let others know, deffinately tell them that this fellow isn't a good risk for their property.

My jaw is on the floor. Honestly, I believe that is the single most disgusting thing I've ever heard--why on earth would those people think that was an appropriate or acceptable thing to do?!?! (Bangs head against wall).

Besides charging him for a new fridge, I also would've found a way to crawl through the phone so I could smack some sense into him. I commend you for holding your tongue and being what I consider to be very diplomatic!

I'm sorry that you and your staff had to deal with such gross behavior. This takes the cake--UNBELIEVABLE!!!

After 3 kids being in diapers, I have never even had a thought to do something like that.

While on vacation, we always put diapers in a plastic bag and throw them in an outside bin.
