He went into the hospital (the Heart Care Center at Saint Vincent Mercy Medical in Toledo) around 6 am...and died four times on the way to the hospital. They were able to revive him. We got the call informing us around 10-ish am...and I don't know what happened from then on.

5:29 pm we get another phone call letting us know our dear family friend had passed on.

This man was an old friend who I'd known most of my life, went to my church, was in the church musical...he was an asset to the whole community being a school board member and a business owner (mechanic). He was a grandpa to three great kids, a husband and a father.

I didn't know I'd need them until now...

One of my family's oldest friends and a HUGE asset to our community died today and we found out about 5:30 pm OH time of a massive heart attack.

He was a grandpa to three awesome kids (one of which is a senior and one is a seventh grader at my HS...the other graduated about two years ago). He worked with my dad and was a close friend of our family.

He's in heaven now...he can't feel any pain or anything now so I guess that's good...but he will be dearly missed.

If you have any spare prayers or positive thoughts, please send them this way. The man's wife and children and grandchildren are having a very rough time right now.

Thanks...I just needed somewhere to vent and cry a little bit.
