I ran over our dog...

but he seems to be doing ok. I was pulling out of our garage and I guess he was in front of the car when I heard a cry. He was stuck under the car and I had to have my husband come out to help me and lift up the car. Luckily he was able to walk out and go to his dog house. There is a bit of blood and I think a bone sticking out of his private area-we can't really see cause his back area is towards the back of the house. I am waiting for my sister to reply back to me on what to do cause her boyfriend is a paramedic and he may be able to give me some info. In the meantime, does anyone else here know what to do? Is anyone here a vet?

If you ran over your dog, you need to put him in the car and TAKE him to the VET! Especially if you see a bone!

if you saw blood...and see a BONE sticking out - take your dog to a vet NOW...or open the yellowpages and find the closest animal hospital. (they do exist around me...not sure around you)

I would call a vet (closest one) and ask what to do. With a compound fracture you describe, I am sure he is in pain and seriuosly injured. Moving him may injure him more, and also get you bit. So sorry to hear this. Sure hoping to hear good later on.

I'm sorry, I'm sure you're in shock and not reacting well. But please, get someone or do it yourself, to take him to a vet now. Do not wait anymore.
Use a blanket, a board, a jacket if you don't have anything else. Put him on it and put him in your car. When you get to the vet, run in and tell them, your dog needs their help now. Tell them he probably has broken bones.

But please, do this NOW.
