I promised DH no more resort changing Sept. 09

I have started a pre trip report before but it was too early and I let it drop off. Not this time! We have passed our 90 day mark, Booked the first part of our ADR's, have our airfare booked and I am finally done changing resorts
Let me start off with our cast.

Me: I am Amber I am 32 years old and have been to Disney too many times to count in my life. I am the planner of this trip, everyone else is along for the ride.

DH: DH is Nick, he is 33 years old and humors me with going to Disney. He enjoys it but would rather got to other places on vacation. The next vacation is his and I have to wait to go back. But atleast he knows that we WILL be going back.
Here we are a few years ago I think it was 2005

DD: DD is 2 years old and this will be her first trip to Disney. She LOVES Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy. For some reason not too interested in Pluto. She also enjoys the princesses,

We have a new guest joining us too! (Due in Jan.)

Also coming along for part of our trip is. . .

My mom: She started my love for Disney and we have gone on a couple mother daughter trips as well as family trips. She really enjoys going but not as much as I do. She is always up for a trip to Disney Wolrd!

My Dad: Swore he would never go to Disney again, we went so many times when I was a child that he lost interest. When he found out we were taking DD he was the first to sign up! He is SO excited to see her experience Disney!

My Godmother: She has been to Disneyland but never Disney wold. She is SO excited and askes all the time how many more days? She is excited to see it herself but is also excited to see it through DD!

Now you know the cast!!

We are going from September 22nd - 30th
Nick , DD and I are doing a split stay 5 night BLT 2 bedroom MK View, 3 nights at the BWI. My parents and Godmother are are staying the first 5 nights at BLT with us. I have switched arounrd resorts SO many times but I AM DONE! I will talk more about resorts in the next post.

Resorts!

I love staying on property and love all thr different themes etc. of the resorts. So for me to make a decision on where to stay was hard, very hard. I have stayed at ASMU ASMO POR POLY GF (maybe others but those are the ones I remember)
To start we were planning to stay the whole trip at the WL. After talking to Nick we decided to add a couple days to the beginning of our trip at POP. We thought this was great but then the more we talked about it we decided just to keep it all at the WL but luckily for me I got to keep the extra days
So that was our plan Nick DD and I would spend our trip at WL. My mom and Dad planned to stay at POLY and my Godmother and her cousin were going to be at POP. so we thought. . .
Over valentines day weekend we stayed 2 night in a hotel and getting DD to sleep with us in the room was horrible! We just all ended up going to dleep way too early. When we got back from our short getaway I heard that BLT was starting to take reservations. We had also gotten a code for free dining. So I talked to my parents and decided to go with a 2 bedroom villa at BLT with a MK view with free dining!! I was and still am VERY excited! Dh and I were planning to stay three extra night so we decided to head over to CSR for our last 3 nights. Perfect, right. . .
Well, I really wanted to upgrade to WL or AKL it was just to convince Nick. I tried to talk up the balcony for us while DD fell asleep etc. Finally he agreed! BLT/AKL here we come. . .maybe. . . errr no
I recently got a code for 40% off and thought we have both really wanted to try and EPCOT resort but never wanted to spend the money. This would make it possible! So a little more time to convince Nick (not too hard this time)and here we are atlast BLT/ BWI!! I had wanted BC but it wasn't available with our code. That's okay I will take BWI! I am so excited! We don't have the dining for our last 3 nights but that is okay. We will pay oop.

We also recently found out my Godmothers cousin wasn't going to be able to make it so she is staying in the villa with us too.

I forgot to mention our last night of our trip is my birthday

Congratulations on your trip and the new baby on the way. It sounds like you all are going to have a blast!! We will be there in Sept too from the 11th - 20th staying at POR.

Thanks! We are all very excited! I have made my ADR's for the first 5 nights but not the last 3 yet. We are trying to decide what we want to do now that we will be paying out of pocket those nights.
We stayed at POR before and LOVED it! We just wanted to try something new this trip.

From what I've seen, your stay at BLT should be outstanding.
My family will be in WDW from 9/17-9/26....we'll be over at AKL.

ADR's​

I have now passed my 90 day mark. On that day I was up at 4:45 in the morning ready to log on!
I was able to get all of what I wanted but I did have to change some days and times, which was fine.
Here is what I got. . .

September 22: (arrival day!) Chef Mickey's Dinner
September 23: Ohana Dinner
September 24: Tutto Italia Dinner
September 25: Coral Reef Dinner
September 26: CRT Breakfast
The Wave Dinner
September 27: Crystal Palace Breakfast

After that I am not sure what we are going to do yet. We aren't on the DDP the last three nights. We will be staying at the boardwalk so I was thinking maybe we will just eat at EPSN or Beaches and Cream. I still need to make an ADR for the 29th (my birthday!) But I am trying to convince Nick to go to MNSSHP and if we do go I would like to eat closer to MK. We will see. . .

I was trying to decide if I should make/buy an autograph book for DD to use when we go. I was thinking she was too young but the other day we were looking at youtube videos of the characters and she got excited everytime someone had "a book" So I decided to make her one. Down on the creative DISign boards there are some really cute autograph pages. At first I was going to print them off but then I decided to make a photobook with the autograph pages they had made. I went to a site and they had a code for a photobook for 6.99 with free shipping. I can't wait to get it! I put pictures of DD on the cover and title page and then the rest are the autograph pages. I will share pictures once it comes!

It sounds like your trip will be so much fun! Definitely give an update about what things are like at BLT...we're going for our first trip "home" in December! My birthday is on the 29thy of September as well, but unfortunately I won't be spending it at WDW. Congrats on your baby news as well!

Well summer has gotten in the way and I haven't updated in awhile. We hit our 45 day mark last week and are all paid up and ready to go! If you look at my sinature you will notice something else happened. I changed resorts again!!! BLT is still in place but we are now ending our trip at the Yacht Club. I had no intention of changing but I called to upgrade to Club Level at BWI and there was nothing available so she checked the Beach Club and Yacht Club and Yacht Club was available. I was afraid it would be gone by the time I thought about it so I went ahead and changed again! At first I was nervous if I did the right thing or not, but now I am happy with my choice. I think DD will love SAB.

As promised I also have some pictures of DD's autograph book, I used the autograph cards from the creative disigns board and had a photo book made.
I really liked how it turned out. DD already loves looking at it. I figured with her young age this will be looked at a lot more than a regular autograph book with just names.
