OK. Finally I can say it out loud: I AM A DVC MEMBER!!!!

I didn't want to say anything during the process, but today I received the letter from DVC saying "Approved Request", I'm sooooo excited.

I sent the papers on 11/26/ so they received it 11/28, and the approval letter is dated 12/01, WOW! that was fast. I don't even know how to react properly!!!

I bought 160 points in AKV with the 6.25 per point incentive against the down payment and the 160 developer points to use at SSR or Disney Collection resort hotels located in California or at hotels available through Interval International.

It's been a year now since I purchased and so happy I did it!! I bought it never visiting a property. I just used it the first time in Nov and I am now adding on points!!
Disney is the only timeshare I will every own!! It's easy to understand and its quality!! I just wished they will build some more resorts!! Hurry up Hawaii

I'll be closing on Dec 18 hopefully and I'm already thinking of when to add-on BLT. I'm with you that Disney is the only timeshare I will ever own, because honestly I think is a better investment than other timeshares places where you don't know in a few years how the maintenance of the place will look like, with Disney you know they won't let the place look crappy after a few years.

My favorite DVC Resort until now is OKW, and that's the oldest DVC resort they have, and my family loves it. I never been in AK, so this will be a first.
