You would love mine then lol....we have a white house and our door is green. Our home is a basic 2 story but this same color scheme (that roof looks purple for some reason but ours is charcoal)

I hear chartreuse is a "trending" color this season lol..for once I am ahead of a trend. I just wanted some tropical color on my boring IL house

I painted my door blue... cuz I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. Its actually TARDIS Blue.

I don't know about the blue door people, but I've heard things about the red door people that would make your eyelashes curl.

Heyyyyy!!!! DH and I have a red door. Well it is dark red and the shutters are the same color and ...........what was it you were saying about red door people??

Mine is a pretty bright red - we did paint the front trim and shutters to match, it gave my very boring beige brick with beige trim and beige shutters a nice pop.
DD wanted to paint the front door green and I had flashbacks to the 70's adult film that referenced a green door, we went red!

Neighbors moved in up the street... The house is a light creamy tan, off-white. They took a that 'neutral' color and went dark/forest green with all of the foundation and trim. That part looks great! Then they followed the 'red door' design craze. I called it the Christmas House!

Another new neighbor moved into a grey house. They to went with the red-door design craze. That would be a very nice complementary color scheme. But, they def. do not have a good color or design sense. Instead of a nice deep darker truer red, it is like a red-orange. So, a big miss on that one too!!!

My door is white, with full-pane fancy cut glass design. (Not just 1/2 or 3/4 panel, but the whole door except for the 12" frame.)
No crazy colors here!

Our house siding is blue. A light Blue with white roof and dark blue shutters. It is the only blue house in the subdivision at this point. They still have about 10 houses to build. I guess we just love blue.

Concerning the red door.

I have heard that a red door signifies the house is paid for...no more mortgage. Sadly, we have not yet earned a red door.
