I need some help from the pros here. I went to disney Dec 2001 and stayed off site. I swore I would NEVER stay off-site again and I won't!

Now that they have the FTP, deluxe is in my reach. It will be DH. myself and our 2 children ages 4 & 5. Epcot is all of our favorite of the 4 parks and we did think about a water view at the BC....would I be missing out on somewhere better?

Also, Concierge what are the benefits? Is it worth the few extra bucks? I don't know much about it because in the past I wouldn't have thought about spending the extra money, but it's reachable for me at this time with this package deal.

Thank You,
Tammy

Tammy, hi!!!

I think the BC concierge with a water view would be wonderful!!!!! I have never done either and I say, "If you can, go for it". You never know what is going to happen in this life. If you can afford it, enjoy yourselves!!!

With our little one, we usually do MK, AK, and MGM in the mornings and do Epcot at night. The BC would be perfect, since you could walk to Epcot.

concierge would be very convenient for breakast, water, snacks during the day.

Don't forget a few character meals!!!

I am not sure if the Swan/Dolphin is included in the FTP, but we highly recommend it. I did some figuring & for 3 adults & 2 kids in my family is was cheaper to stay @ the Dolphin Club Level (Conciegre Level) & buy park tickets separetly then book the FTP & stay at a Deluxe.

IMHO, the BC is the best location on property, and the nicest hotel. I love the pool, I love the fact that it is walking distance to Epcot and walking or boating distance to MGM. I love the Boardwalk and being within walking distance to that.

I have never stayed concierge, but it would seem to me that if ti's not a ton of extra money, having the available snacks etc might be a good thng.

Hi,

I highly recommend you stay at the Beach Club Villas. We just became DVC members last November and stayed there in March with our 2 year old son. We loved it so much that we are returning at the end of June. Epcot is also our favorite place and we spent every night walking the World Showcase. The pool (SAB) is awesome and your kids will LOVE it. They also have several quiet pools.

I am not too sure if the FTP applies to the "Villas" but you should really look into it. Having the livingroom and full kitchen really made the trip easier - especially when traveling with a little one. Having a DVD player in the room wasn't such a bad thing either.. Have fun and Good luck with your decision..

Wilderness Lodge is our favorite by a long shot, however, if I was going to stay anyplace else it would be the Y & BC due to its location. Epcot is also our favorite park and I would really love to be able to walk "home" at night as we tend to spend our evenings there.

I still don't know which resort, but have decided against doing the concierge. A HUGE THANKS!!!!! to Kim. The thread was very informative. After DH reading it too he decided we could spend the extra on airfare since he get's an employee discount too. I can get all the Krispy Kreme donuts one mile from my house and our family is not really into breakfast thing. We mostly just grab fruit.

If Epcot is your favourite then go with BC or as posted go with the BCV (Villas) 1BR if you can afford the extra space. It is a great resort plus you get to use Stormalong Bay (the best pool on property hands down). Also, easy to stroll over to the Boardwalk and if you like walking, can walk to Disney Studios along the canal (a bit of a walk)

Thanks

Not sure about the water view, but the boardwalk across from BC is nice also. We stay at the villas, DVC members, :p and the EPCOT resort, Swan, Dolphin, BW and CC is our favorite area....

Oh yeah, the rooms were just refurbished and I saw some cute pictures once. The bedspreads were light pink with pictures of Mickey and Minnie at the beach!!! So Cute!!!
