Hi all, I am planing a wonderfull trip to the world from 12/17 to 12/22. I have a soft ressie thru small world vacations for a room at CSR. My delima is that I forgot about my wife's final exams. The college will not tell us the exact exam date but it may fall during our trip. My dates are set in stone and can not change. If the exam falls on that week our trip is off. What do you think I shoud do. I have until october to send in our deposit and till 11/02 to send in our final payment. How hard will it be to get a room at a mod resort if I cant book anything until dec. Is there a penalty to cancel a ADR's. I wanted to get tickets to MVMCP with dinner at LTT. Will that be impossible if I wait too much longer. Please send me any advise that you may have. Thanks

Oh dear. This is tough. Ressies at that time of year are hard to come by. When I was in college - I did take a final early once but had to sware on my unborn children that I would not divluge any questions. Perhaps that would be an option and she can ask now before hand - I would even go so far as to lie and tell the professor that she needed to be out of town for other reasons during that timeframe. Would more than one final fall within that timeframe?
As far as ADR there is no penalty except for the packages like Candlelight etc but you have 48 hours in advance to cancel without penalty so I would go ahead and book all that now and then not worry. You would have to wait on the Christmas Party though as those I don't think are refundable. Good Luck.

Now it looks like the exam may be on the 18th. I may be able to change our dates to the 12/19 to 12/23. how do you think the crouds will be in the parks.

The closer you get to Christmas the worse it will be and with Christmas on Tuesday this year - I would say that the 21st on will be tight. The sooner you can get there that week the better. On the other hand - if you don't have the expectations of doing every ride and just go for the spirit of the Holidays getting there late on the 18th would be just fine, personally I wouldn't wait till the 19th. I would book my flight it the evening, check in and get up bright and early on the 19th to hit the parks. The day you travel is shot anyway. Be sure to book a Candlelight Package at EPCOT and a Fantasmic Package at MGM and some wonderful ADRs in between and you should get the vacation you are looking for. I'd still try to take the final exam early if at all a possibility as you will get so much more park touring earlier in the week and Disney tickets ain't cheap. Good Luck.

According to *****************, the 23rd is the only day that will be really crowded. Other than that day, the crowd levels are expected to be about the same.
