I had surgery on Thursday (3 days ago). We are supposed to leave for Disney World in 7 days. Because of the swelling, etc I think I am going to have to purchase some clothes for this trip that will be loose and comfortable.
I have been searching for ideas on this board off and on for a couple of days and here are my questions. I know there are posts to answer these questions
and I have looked at many of them. But I am not getting it yet. If you could link me to it, I'd appreciate it.

1. If I see a design that I like on one of the DDA's pages or photobucket and I don't want it personalized, can I download it or do I need to send a PM or post on the board to get it?

2. Once I have it, how do I know what size it will print out?

3. How do you know if the pattern has to be reversed in order to print it on a t-shirt or sweat shirt?

4. If I don't have time to order from Amy, what transfer paper is best? I have Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Wal Mart and Jo Ann's.

Many thanks!

I'll try to help you out with your questions here...

1. You can download it to your computer but it's nice to send a message to the designer just letting them know you are using them. Also, we really like it if you could post pictures when you have completed them, but you dont have to.

2. Usually, what ever program you are viewing in will have an option to print also. Click file on the top right hand of the program, then page set up, here is where you should be able to check on the size. You may need to landscape it depending on the design too. I will click on option to "scale to fit"
That will make sure it will fit the transfer paper. But be warned, doing this may distort your design, but not always.

3. I you are going to be using a dark transfer you will not need to reverse the image. Dark transfers will give you a white background and you will need to cut out any white you do not need.

4. I have used Avery transfers. They worked just fine for me. I would say they are as good as Amy's transfers. You can get Avery from most retailers.

I hope this helps
Keith
