I need some help w/ AP transaction ??s

I am driving to Florida in a couple of weeks. I had intended to leave at dawn but will have to wait until noon to depart.
I secured an AP Rate for AKL (b/c I knew I'd be trading up and getting an AP this trip) and thought I'd have plenty of time to swing by (yeah...right!) DTD or one of the parks - and upgrade my PH to an AP. However, with my new plans and especially fearing traffic on a Friday afternoon/evening the week before Easter - I'm afraid it will be too late at night to take care of it. I have reserved a hotel room off-site as a back-up but I read somewhere that the DTD Guest Services/Relations office is open until 11:30pm! Is this correct? Has anyone upgraded a Park Hopper in this way at DTD? Particularly in the 8pm-10pm range? Thanks so much

When we were there in December, I went to DTD around 11 and they were open. You should be able to contact Disney and ask for sure.
 
Any Guest Relations location can handle your transaction including the two at DTD which are open until 11:30 on Fri & Sat.

But don't lose sleep over your plan. The very worst thing that can happen to you if you check into AKL without the AP or a voucher and they ask to see it is that they will give you 24 hours to get one and come back to the front desk to show it. So don't kill yourself trying to get to DTD before checking in.
