AH! Im going crazy trying to "finalize" everything!

I need help! If you could please choose TWO must dos for Breakfast and Dinner each. Along with ONE Lunch..

Currently I have:

Breakfast:
-Crystal Palace
-Chef Mickey
-Tusker House
-1900 Park Fare

Dinner:
-Crystal Palace
-1900 Park Fare
-Whispering Canyon
-Teppan Edo
-'Ohana

Lunch:
-Sci Fi
-50s

7 People (all women :scared1:) 4 of which are adults and 3 of which are children (ages: 12, 7, 2) If you have any recommendations outside of the above, please let me know! I am going crazy!

What we like:
The kids: pretty much live off of chicken nuggets/mac and cheese and the likes
Adults: we LOVE Outback Steakhouse, so I guess steaks, southern food, and italian lovers.

None of us are exotic eaters also NO signature dining recommendations please, I just dont see the worth in them..plus we have a 2 year old so it would be a waste for us to attempt to enjoy that meal lol.

Thank you all ahead of time for the help..You will save me a trip to the looney bin! :)

Breakfast- 1.Crystal Palace if you are in MK and Tusker House if you are in AK
2. 1900 Park Fare- did this one last July with a party of 8 and
loved it- the Mad Hatter was great and Mary Poppins too
Lunch- Most definitely 50s Prime Time Cafe- great fun and good food
Dinner- 1. O'Hanna- Great for large parties
2. Whispering Canyon Cafe- good food, fun and in the most beautiful
hotel lobby (IMO) at WDW

I'd suggest Teppen for dinner or lunch. Kids will be entertained and food is wonderful. I'd also suggest Crystal Palace for dinner. Good character interaction, beautiful location and food is good for a buffet. I'd pick 50's before Sci Fi. It is fun and food is OK. The kids will love the adults being picked on. I'm not a Sci Fi fan. Too quiet and hard to talk without disturbing others. Food isn't very good either. I'm not a breakfast fan so I can't recommend any of the locations you listed.

Thanks! I just noticed youre a tiger! Im a gamecock! haha!! Glad we can find some common ground (Disney)! :-P

I was thinking along these SAME lines...which is funny (must be the SC dining)! :)

Breakfast-Kona Lunch-LeCellier or Via Napoli
Dinner-Chefs de France

From your choices, I would do the Crystal Palace and Tuskers House breakfasts, Teppen Edo and 'Ohana for dinner and Sci Fi for lunch.

Have you thought about Via Napoli? We haven't been there yet but are anxious to try it.

And our actual favorite breakfasts are both at the Poly ... 'Ohana and Kona.

Thanks! :) I was thinking about Via Napoli but I was checking out the menu and Im not sure how it would go over with the kids, but to me the menu looks devine, I was def thinking about it but maybe for lunch!!

Kona seems interesting to me...two suggestions for Kona, Im thinkin about bookin...:scratchin:

1. For breakfast, I would choose Chef Mickey's (because it's the only character meal w/ both Mickey & Minnie) & Crystal Palace.

2. For dinner, I would choose 'Ohana and either 1900 Park Fare (especially if some of the children are girls) or Whispering Canyon Cafe.

3. For lunch, I would choose Sci-Fi - 'cause eating in a car is just cool!

Well I have to admit although I am a Clemson alum, my masters is from USC. I just don't share that with too many people lol. When are you going? Me, DH and DS (14) are going down in July with a FD PIN and the whole family (me, DH, DS, DD, DDF, DD, DSIL, DGS) are going down at Christmas.

Haha! Nice to know about USC (youre all truely gamecocks at heart..right? :-P)! Secret is safe with me :thumbsup2

We are going October 20-23 short trip. was originally for me and my friend..now my family invited themselves...so It is me, my grandma, mom, aunt, and three cousins. haha!

You should join the October crowd and MNSSHP!!! :-P

P.S. Im jealous July AND December..LUCKY!

For breakfast: (although it's not on the list!) I would definitely do Ohana's :) It was the best breakfast EVER! Crystal Palace ran a close 2nd!

For lunch: DEFINITELY 50's Prime Time Cafe. It is such a great atmosphere! My kiddos loved it!!

For Dinner: Whispering Canyon!! That's a great time!!

I know this is only one for each, but maybe it will help!

Hope all of you ladies have a great time!! :goodvibes

Hi there!
I have traveled to Disney world since i was 3 every yr (im now 26) and take my own children!
The ages of my children are Twins 5 and oldest boy 8... Im giving the info as sometimes i think it helps with explaining my choices :)

Evertime we go we just have to do a Lunch at Crystal Palace I dont know if you have been to Disney or how many times but like your children being from Englland they like to stick to food they know and they have a great Buffet selection for kids like the Mac and cheese( I have never gotten them to eat anything like it in England:rotfl2: But they seem to love the stuff over there!! nuggets, plain chicken fries vegatables, etc and for the Adults the norm is a good Salmon with a nice topping(not to over the top) plenty of potatoes fries vegies mash etc and the desserts are great! Plus the kids are entertained with the Winnie pooh charecters! and the music follow my leader style thing they do round the place every like 20 mins or so!

I would also recommend it for Breakfast! how i love American style Breakfasts yum!!!!

Then for a decent steak etc and good chicken (i KNOW ITS NOT ON YOUR LIST) but the Coral Reef is just stunning for A 1 CREDIT table service so in the like $16-25 doller range haveing to think about that as not great at converting haha, My boys are always Amazed and entertained by the huge tank! plus ive only ever had just 1 ok meal in about 11 or so, I would choose this place for dinner or lunch also.....

Another great Charecter must do Breakfast for my boys in Definatly the Donald safari at AK is that Tusker house??? Sorry having a mind blank,They also do the music sing walk around the Charecter outfits and Interaction i think is some of the best hands down ! Not to mention that Wonderful photo package you get when you go in,I just love that Keepsake, I have to say we have only done it 3 times as it was a hidden gem and we had not really thought about it, Until we found it that was!!

Another Hidden Gem i found was also in AK And its the Yak &Yeti, they do some wonderful dishes that i find are slightly more exotic, but without being over the top! and its not a signature either but the food is delish! this for me is a great lunch! Maybe not as interesting for the kids but they do have a nice selection of kids meals..this wouldnt be a dinner though as the park always shuts earlier then the others..!

The Princess Breakfast at Norway, Akershus (forgive me if its spelt wrong)
Wow did I love this but its one that get booked quite fast although we have had luck a few times with our party of 6! Another great Free photo package!!!! just love that word at Disney :woohoo: ...My boys did not want to go here as its (for GIRLS) :rotfl: well after they did it they wanted to do it again! The food is fab huge selection of fresh fruits and Yoghurt,Breakfast muffins pasteries etc and a wonderful hot platter of bacon eggs sausage etc that was topped up when ever it even looked touched!! The Princesses was so wonderful and attentive with the boys hugging and kissing my shy Twins:love: i think the boys feel in love:love: This for me is a not to be missed!

I know you said you dont doo fancy food but Le cellier had to get a mention for my other not to be missed Dinner the Steak was out of this world just as good as my Citrocus one if not better! with a lush Rissoto!! and the desserts was fantastic if you wanted the Amazing food that the Signatures offer this is my choice, Ive done a few but to be fair with kids like you said dont waste your money and go for somewhere like this,

Right sorry to have waffled on i get carried away when talking Disney!
but i hope i have given you some good choices if you do end up eating at any I hope you enjoy what ever you do end up Picking :flower3:

BREAKFAST: Tusker House & 1900 PF breakfast. Although personally i would do Ohana breakfast. IT WAS AWESOME!

DINNER: Teppan Edo (MY FAVE) & Crystal Palace.

LUNCH: I love Sci Fi. Eating in a car is VERY cool. Mind you its 2 per bench/seat. What i dont get is when people complain that with a 2 seater its difficult to talk during the meal....it is a drive-in afterall, its best to do your research before actually going to the restaurant! Having said that, it is a drive-in so dont expect gourmet food. Lol. But i will tell you their ribs are HEAVENLY!!!!!!! So are their burgers & shakes. So much fun!!! I do think 50's is fun as well, but i thought their fried chicken was waaay too salty. The table next to us said the same. Not sure if it was an off day. but I do prefer sci fi. :)

Breakfast:
- Crystal Palace
- Cape May or 1900

Lunch:
- Le Cellier (if you don't think you'd like that, I like Tusker House for lunch, too. :))

Dinner:
- Ohana
- Whispering Canyon is good too for your party I would think

Hmmm...

Breakfast:
Cape May is really nice
'Ohana gets rave reviews for breakfast

Dinner:
Biergarten!!! *LOVE* this place, and so did my kids.
Akershus is awesome

Lunch:
I have no suggestions that you don't already have.

Or, did you want us to choose from your list? If from your list, then I'd say:

Breakfast:
Crystal Palace
Tusker House

Dinner:
1900 Park Fare
Whispering Canyon Cafe

Lunch:
Sci-Fi

Does Tusker house give free photos?

What else includes pics, I know CRT and the other princess buffet at Epcot but any others?

Hi yes Tusker house does a picture op I cant remember wether it was free or not though argh! I know that you que as you go in though and they take it atomatically with Donald duck! and its sighned so it could be free, please dont hold me to that lol .....

Don't know when you are making reservations but:

I would choose Crystal Palace and Tusker and make 8:05 ressies or as close as you can to get in the parks early.

For lunch: 50's.
For Dinner: Ohana and Whispering Canyon.

Now I took into consideration what you mentioned but I will suggest you do one meal that may be slightly out of your comfort zone. Via Napoli is wonderful ( I would think your children would enjoy the pizza) or Tutto Italia, both are in Epcot .
