We are going in late July with DD 6yo. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. We are staying 7 nights (FT pkg) at the Coronado Springs Resort.

By coming to these boards, you are already on the right track!!

The information shared by the people on these boards packed full of tips, hints, reviews, and personal experiences. To start, check out the Theme Parks board and the Restaurants board for help planning your touring strategy and the all important dining strategy!

Since you are going in late July, you might consider planning for daily "breaks" from the parks to rest or cool off by the pool. I have stayed at CSR, and found it to be an absolutely lovely place to enjoy an afternoon lounging by the pool - a perfect July pastime!

Hope you enjoy your trip!

DDreneeT,
We are going in late July and are also from NC, when are you going and where are you from? We always go towards the end of July, is there anything in particular you would like to know? It will be hot and humid but not much different than NC. Crowds aren't usually too bad, but with FTP, it may be worse this year. Get to the parks early and take an afternoon break. Then go back to parks in the evening.

1. Get up and out early, before the heat of the the midday
2. If your DD tires easily, consider a stroller for her. Remember, it will be hot, crowded, and therefore more tiring.
3. During the heat of the day (say noon-4PM), go back to your hotel, rest, swim. The parks are open later, so you can go back out at night and still see and do things.
4. Remember, it's vacation!!!! Don't try to jam everything in, don't "commando" tour...everybody will just get hot, tired, and cranky!!!!!
5. Have a basic plan and try to stick to it, but be open for changes if something good is happening somewhere.
6. Use Fastpass. It will enable you to see more attractions and still go on the ones you want.
