Ok so we are travelling to the world for our Wedding and we will be staying at the Beach Club from the 7-21 Sept and on the 22nd September we are going for our first Disney Cruise. When we booked I wanted to fly out on the 8th so we could go from one thing to the next but unfortunately our flight was booked up so we booked the 7th instead!
Now it was in the past as part of booking a disney Escape wedding that if you had booked enough number of nights at a Disney hotel that you would receive a complimentary night. This seemed to fit us perfectly as we had a night where we needed to organise accomodation.
However, Disney have changed the rules and now no longer offer the complimentary night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I now have to find and pay for another night. I called Virgin to get a quote for an additional night which came back at £220, Disney UK £209! Now this is a little steep to add onto our already overly priced holiday so I am looking at what I can do. Oh and there is only 2 of us
Ideally we want to remain at the Beach Club but this doesn't seem possible right now, so I am thinking DVC or just staying somewhere else! I want it to be as easy as possible as we won't have a car and don't want to spend our last day lugging stuff back and forth and checking in etc.
Never done DVC so not really sure how it works and how reliable it is. So if you have any tips about DVC or have any ideas about cheap stays please let me know!
