My DH and I are trying to plan a trip to USO/IOA Dec 3-8 2006. We have decided on RPR and we are going with the kids eat sleep and play for free. My questions are.... Is this to long of a trip for 2 parks? Is the meal deal plan worth it or is the food less pricey then WDW? What exactly is the City Pass deal? How are the crowds this time of year? My kids are 10 and 8 will they enjoy this resort or should we stay offsite at the Nick. Hotel?

I know that I have alot of questions since we have never been and I truly appreciate all of your words of wisdom.

Thanks
Debbie :)

I can only help somewhat, your stay might be to long for two parks. Now, If it was up to me! I would choose to stay on-site(RPR). When you stay on site, your entire family get a room key, with those keys, everyone get's to by pass all the regular lines for both parks & for each ride. I haven't done the meal deal, so I don't know much about it :confused3. There's things to do at City Walk for a nice dinner w/ your family. Also when you guys go in Dec. they have the theme "Grinchmast" it's pretty cool & your kids will love it. Have fun in your trip & good luck. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the response. Anyone else have any ideas on the meal plan.

Thanks again
Deb :)

i think that the meal plan only includes counter-service restaurants & we love the sit-down restaurants in both parks plus Citywalk & the hotel restaurants so it wouldn't be a good deal for us.

we have a trip to US/IOA planned for about the same amount of days as your trip & we're going to Sea World using the free shuttle for one day. The other days we will enjoy a leisure-paced tour of the parks, swimming & eating out. i think it'll be very relaxing to never have to worry about rushing through the parks....our young kids can play in the kid playgrounds/splash areas of the parks without feeling like they have to rush. enjoy!
