I am on the website checking out the different styles. Which style is best for WDW. My DH likes the Sobeks...anyone know how they are? I like the Niles and the Disney ones! Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

TIA

Kellen

If you use the link from msn.com they have $10 off at shoebuy today. Just ordered a new pair of Caymens for 22.

Last summer I had a pair of the "Beach" Crocs which were reasonably comfortable until I accidently left them outside whilst on vacation and when we got back, they had shrunk to child's size! :scared1:

I have found wearing toe socks with my Crocs makes them more comfortable.

(The sock only covers my toes)

What link are you referring to? I just looked and found no reference to Crocs. Thanks.

When you go to msn.com, scroll down to the bottom right to the box that says 'Advertisements'. You'll see a link for '$10 off + Free Shipping'. The link doesn't say Shoebuy.com so that's probably what is throwing folks off.:thumbsup2

The Disney Beach ones are good but I can't think of any one style that's best for WDW as they're all so danged comfortable! :) Personally I prefer my 'pixie pumps' (Croc's Sassari style) because they're more stylish with a heel and are sooo comfortable.

Hi
I love the Croc Scutes. They are the best!! And my DD loves the new Patras. They're more stylish, but for a more narrower foot. I wore the Croc Scutes in August and the Croc Mickey Beach in December (with socks) and never had a blister and my feet are usually covered with them.

I've always worn the beach version from Payless. Never had one blister or hot spot and the've dried completely w/in 10 min. after a rain storm or water ride.

Bit of advice....break them in WELL before WDW! DH gave me a pair of tinkerbell-green ones for my b-day at WDW last summer. I wore them one day and got a huge hot spot on the balls of both feet which turned into painful water blisters over night....bad,bad,bad. These are the real Crocs. I have since broken them in and haven't had a problem, but I think I still prefer the Payless ones.

My favorites so far are the Athens. Be sure to break any ones that you get in well before the trip! (I walk a mile a day in them for about a week- makes them nice and squishy, and wears down the bumps where your foot goes!)

Sorry this is oT but Disnut i see you live in bromall, i'm rather close to you!! My mom grew up not far from bromall and my nan and pop live in paoli!

Anyway, back to the crocs. Do the "generic" version of the crocs work just as good? i need to buy 4 pairs (me, dh, dd(31/2)ds(19months)) and the cheapest way is always the best, but i am prepared to buy the real deal if there is that big of a difference. I can't mess with our feet when it comes to WDW!!!!

Please let me know!

thanks everyone

Hi PrincessKellen74,
Glad you're a neighbor. Where do you live? I'm familiar with Paoli also. Back to the Crocs. I've never tried the payless version, but I've been so happy with my Croc Scutes and the Mickey Beach pair that I have. I have two pairs of Scutes and actually last years pair are more softer to walk on than this years pair. But they're still really comfortable. Shoebuy.com has a lot of styles with free shipping and free return. Also surfanddirt.com has all the styles, but no free shipping or free return. Hope you find a pair you like.:goodvibes

Disnut- we live in Langhorne. We pass Sesame Place multiple times on a daily basis lol!

Thanks for all the advice on the crocs. My mom suggested that i go to a sporting goods store and try them on to see which ones i like best. i also and looking for the best deal!

I think I will be bringing my disney crocs AND my mary Janes! I just discovered the Mary Janes and they are SOOOOO comfy! I am a teacher and I wear them all the time! I actually have started a Mary Jane Fad with the girls in my Elementary school right down to the big flower jibbit on the left croc.. ( I am a music teacher so I see all 350 kids) It is way too funny!:lmao:

Good morning Paoli, Broomall, Langhorne.....Warrington here (work in L-horne!)

I second shoebuy.....I've bought several pairs there in the past weeks....too much positive press about them from fellow posters to ignore it any longer. If you're interested, PM me, and I can send you a $10 coupon for the site. They have great sales, free shipping and returns, I'm their best new customer! I personally like the Maryjanes. I also bought a pair of the "Professionals" as I am one! I did get a little red spot and a teeny tiny blister (on the top of my foot, just above the arch area) my first day wearing them however..I hope it's not going to be an issue. But I didn't have toe socks on with them, so that may be part of it!
