I need help looking for a gown..

I am looking for a gown for our 15th wedding ann. party. I would like it to be light blue with silver embroidary and I would like it to have a small train maybe . Has anyone come across anything like this in their wedding dress travels? Thanks for any help!

I'd suggest looking at any dress shop in their formal section. Since its homecoming season, they might have what you're looking for.

Hi Ruby. I did a few searches and could find some white dresses with blue beading but no blue dresses with silver embroidery or beading. I do, however, have a controversial suggestion. I know a website, www.juliusbridal.com. They do custom gowns and fabulous embroidery. Their prices are great. You can get any of their gowns in light blue with silver embroidery and they will customize the length of the train or even copy a dress you like. You'll have to buy it site unseen and wait 2 months for it. But, I've seen some of their work, and it is really nice. Buying a dress over the internet isn't for everyone, but it's an option...

I am sorry I can't think of any place, other than formal wear or a custom dress designer. It's so hard when you have a very specific idea...but good luck to you!

Here comes the controversy: Uhm, be careful of that web site. (Sorry jojo!) I noticed they have a veil on there that they offer to sell (veils 2 and 3) and I know something about those veils since they are like mine. In fact the pics are from the web site of the person I ordered mine from (Veils by Kristen Elizabeth). She is the one of only a few people in the US that are selling the authentic Belgian "princess lace" veils--and they don't go for no 80 bucks, since the import duties are at least half of that...

Just caveat emptor--but if jojo says she has seen some of their other stuff, I would have to listen to her on that...
