I NEED HELP - Formal Night Pictures

Ok ladies - I need your help. I put a beautiful formal gown on hold today. But, I'm afraid it is Too formal.

I'm going with my DS10 and a friend and her 2 sons.

Post some formal pictures so I know if I'll feel out of place or not.

This was semi formal night. For formal night, I wore a black sleeveless dress that had a turtleneck style and an angular hem. Okay, so that doesn't make sense, but it was just a bit dressier than this...more sleek...of course I don't have a picture. But I saw women significantly dressier than this and many much less dressed up. I was pretty middle of the road for the semi formal night. I hope this helps....keep in mind, GET WHAT YOU WANT and what you're comfortable in! It is your vacation!!!

Well I figure formal is formal You're going to see folks dress from nice dresses to gowns. I figure here's a great chance to dress up to the nines! I bought a nice what I like to call Cinderella gown. Corsetted top and layed skirting. Ice Pink. I want to look dressed up for Mickey you know

Oh and did I mention the clear little heals I found...my very own glass slippers! Was showing them to a friend and they just got the biggest kick out of it!

My semi formal is the typical "little black dress" type of dress.

There's no so thing as 'too formal' when it comes to formal night on a cruise. You will see many people dressed in cocktail dresses, as well as full-length formal gowns. (I wore a full-length black formal gown on two previous DCL trips and I can't wait to wear one again!) Trust us, you WON'T feel out of place. (Wish I could post our formal pics, but I'm still learning how! LOL!)

Kathy, it's pretty much what you want to wear. DD and I word glittery tops with jersey evening pants. Saw women in floor length "gowns" and others in "Sunday" dresses. Pretty broad range. Pick what works for you.

THAT IS GORGEOUS!! Enjoy wearing it on your cruise! Heck, I'd wear it around the house just for the fun of it!

I was able to get this one on eBay for $30!

And went to Dress Barn and was able to get another full length dress for $35!! I wish I could find a pic online of it.

I will need 2 because we are on the Repositioning Cruise and will have 2 formal nites.

It was nice to see all the great gowns!

Mickeyworld- believe it or not on ebay. Its actually the second one I bought. Resold the first because I liked this one soooooooo much better Would never have found one around here.
