1. Magic Kingdom Park

2. Epcot

3. MGM Studio

4. Downtown Disney

Anywhere you *wouldn't* eat? TIA!

If you'll let us know whether you are looking for counter service, table service, or both and which meal (B-L-D) it would help us in making suggestions. Also, how many people and how many kids and ages.

MK -
Love: Cosmic Rays, Crystal Palace
Will not eat at: Liberty Tree Tavern

Epcot -
Love: Sunshine Seasons, Tangeriene Cafe
Will not eat at: Nine Dragons

MGM - dining here is mediocre across the board. If you have time, walk to a nearby resort if you want a nice meal

DTD - we usually don't eat there

MK: Columbia Harbour House/Pecos Bill

EPCOT: Nothing sticks out for me

MGM: SCI-FI is my fav..love their burgers!

DTD: Earl of Sandwich

MK- Cinderella's Royal Table - L (this one is paid for when you make the ressie)
This year trying CP and LTT, B and D respectively

EPCOT - Coral Reef - we love it but wasn't able to fit it in this year (L)
Le Cellier - We love this one too

MGM - We love Sci-Fi Dine In (L), H&V (in spite of the reviews on here)50's Prime Time

AK - we aren't too crazy about anything specific here but we have eaten at Rain Forest and liked it.

DTD - We have never eaten here.

Magic Kingdom - CS: Noodle Station, TS: Monorail to the Polynesian and go to Ohana

Epcot - CS: Tangerine Cafe, TS: Le Cellier

MGM - CS: Don't eat CS at MGM, TS: Sci Fi and 50's Prime Time are both good options, or take the boat to the Beach Club and try Beaches and Cream

AK - CS: Flame Tree BBQ, TS: Rainforest Cafe or head over to AKL for Boma

DTD - CS: Earl of Sandwich, TS: Wolfgang Puck Cafe

MK: crystal palace is fav.

MGM: sci fi or 50's i think everything else is just "ok" or overpriced. these two have the best atmosphere.

Epcot: Le Cellier, coral reef

DTD: i have heard wolfgang puck is great, as well as raglan road but never been

1. Magic Kingdom Park
CS-> Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bills
TS-> none (maybe CP, but I don't care for buffets and character meals)
maybe LTT for lunch (the whole dinner menu seems too heavy)
*Personally I recommend going to one of the MK resorts to dine - Kona, Citricos, WCC, etc.
**Absolutely will not eat at Tony's ever again! Nor do I intend to eat at 'Ohanas again.

2. Epcot
CS-> I still have many of these to try here... but again, I prefer to head over to the BC to B&C.
TS-> LeCellier (again, still have many to try)

3. MGM Studio
CS->ABC Comm.
TS->Brown Derby
**Absolutely will not ever dine at H&V again-YUK.

4. Downtown Disney
CS->Earl of Sandwich
TS->nothing "special", but looking forward to Raglan Road in October!
**Probably will not eat at Rainforest again...

No AK?
CS->Tusker House
TS-> Head over to AKL to Boma or Jiko! :thumbsup2

We love the following:
Magic Kingdom : Cosmic Rays
Caseys

EPCOT : Any of the countrys

MGM : Brown Derby

DTD: Earl of Sndwich
Rain Forest Cafe

These are just my preferences. If you are going with or without kids, or if you have particular tastes in food (certain flavors, ethnic styles, etc. ) or setting (formal, informal, CS, TS, buffet, characters or no characters, etc.) you may not like the same ones I do. Check out menus for your best options.
:)

1. Magic Kingdom Park
Breakfast- CS- Main Stree Bakery has some good treats. TS - Cinderella's Royal Table to see the inside of the Castle or Crystal Palace for the food :)
Lunch- CS- Pecos Bill's, Cosmic Ray's or Columbia Harbour House
TS- Plaza
Dinner- TS Crystal Palace OR take a monorail and hop to Kona- the best restaurant on property! (says me :) ) or any other spot at the Contemporary, Poly or Grand Flo! There are tons of awesome spots there for whatever your preference.

2. Epcot
Breakfast- CS- Fountainview!
Lunch- CS- Tangeriene Cafe or Yorkshire County Fish Shoppe
TS- any dinner CS
Dinner- TS Rose and Crown, San Angel Inn, Le Cellier

3. Disney - MGM Studios
Breakfast- CS Starring Rolls or at your resort
Lunch- TS- 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi or Brown Derby
Dinner - TS- any of the above mentioned. Truthfully, I haven't had a bad meal at any of them! I will be trying Mama's this August.

4. Downtown Disney-
Not too many breakfast options, eat before you go
Lunch or Dinner- I am a fan of RFC but I will be trying Portobello Yacht Club, Fulton's and Earl of Sandwich.

:)

MK - our fav is the Crystal Palace for dinner. I would never eat at the Noodle Terrace again...HORRIBLE!

EPCOT - our fav is Germany, Biergarten. For CS we love Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco. I would never eat at the CS in Mexico, food was terrible.

MGM - Love the 50's Prime Time, the fried chicken is so good! We did not like Hollywood and Vine, we waited over an hour past our ADR time and the food was really bad.

AK - Love the Flame Tree BBQ.

DTD - Loved Earl of Sandwich!

If you are going to the Rainforest Cafe, consider purching a membership for RF Safari Club for $15. As long as you use it 1 time per year, it never expires and there's no additional joining fees.

You will receive a $10 gift certificate in the mail and it entitles you to a free appetizer with any entree purchase. The appetizer is the sampler platter (about a $10 value). Or you could get 10% off entrees (but the appetizer is usually a better deal).

10% off retail merchandise.

You can also use the card at other affiliated restaurants. We used ours at Landry's (again a large free appetizer - which was my dinner). It was close to Downtown Disney.

Other restaurants (don't know if they are in Orlando) Cadillac Mexican Rest, Joe's Crab Shack, Saltgrass Steakhouse, The Crab House, Willie G's Oyster Bar.

MK - lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern
cs - Casey's

Epcot - Chefs de France
cs - Yorkshire Fish Shoppe

MGM - Mama Melrose
cs - none

AK - cs - Flame Tree

DTD - Earl of Sandwich

We eat most of our dinners at resorts. Boma, Spoodles, Flying Fish and Yachtsman Steakhouse are some of our favorites.

1. At MK I absolutley LOVE Tony's Town Square. The eggplant rotini and calamari are both great!

2. Is there really anywhere bad at Epcot? My favorite there is Beirgarten. I like the brauts and deserts, and the band is a hoot. Marrakesh is also great.

3. 50's Prime Time is always a fun experience, and the home-cooked style meals are great.

4. Portabello Yacht Club, Raglan Road, and even Earl of Sandwich are all great. For desert you HAVE to go to Ghiradelli's.

Just my opinions, of course :thumbsup2

Sorry. *blushes*

I'm looking for both TS & CS for B & L. Total of 4 people including two children ages 1 & 4.

MK: Crystal Palace breakfast, LTT dinner for TS
Casey's, Cosmic Ray's for CS
would not go back to: Tony's

Epcot: Rose and Crown, Le Cellier, Biergarten, Les Chefs de France for TS
Electric Umbrella for CS
would not go back to: nothing in particular

MGM: Brown Derby, 50's Prime Time for TS
Toy Story Pizza (if I had to pick one)
would not go back to: Sci-Fi Dine In (nasty, the worst meal we've ever had at Disney. But the atmosphere is cool.)

AK: wouldn't really recommend anything, but nothing is that bad really.

DTD: Earl of Sandwich is ok.

PS> This is totally off topic, but I have a question for you, CalgaryCookie: How big is the population of Calgary? We may be transferred there for my husband's job in Oct. or Nov. I know it's big of course, but I can't find an actual population count. Just wondering for my own info. :sunny:

dont eat at planet holleywood in downtown disney-bad service.for mk you could eat at crystal palace or tonys.for mgm you could eat at the sci fi dine in.at epcot you could eat at the rosan crown or the tepa nyaki dining room.

We just hit one million last week!

With a 1 and 4 year old, you will love Crystal Palace at MK (B,L or D). Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet come to visit you at your table. At that age, who doesn't love that "Silly Ole Bear"???
