I NEED a trip to DL.

OK now I have successfully had my house trashed, missed out on 3 weeks laundry, forgotten to empty the trash (what's that smell), ignored the kids, divorced Dh, went bankrupt and forclosed on my house because I have been on the DIS all day long. NEGLECTING those around me with needs. I'm not sure I've fed my dog in 3 days.

I have to get this straightened out. I think I have an addiction problem to the DIS.

Gonna go to rehab. See you all later.

I hear you there, I am numb from the waist down from being on here so much lately! I just can't tear myself away from you guys for long, who needs food or a house, I've got the DIS and my hyena posse with me.

Oh almost forgot, there is one way for you to be home by 5pm Friday, it's called an airplane!! If it's just DS and you, it might be cheaper than gas.

OMG checked in during laundry and I just cannot stop laughing.

If I fly then I have to take a shuttle and everything. I can be there faster if I drive by the time I get to the airport check in 7 hours early, fly over, get the shuttle and head for DL.

If the dance was just Saturday I would go. Maybe I can call the organizer and tell her she is messing up my LIFE!!!

that is soooooooooo not going to happen...you have my cell # nut... for me...I plan on being there when they open the gates...Im checking in the GC by 7:30 and then off to the park...I have one PS that day and its for ariel's grotto at 12:30pm...other than that I am free as a bird caw caw

Yeah I get that a lot too. When DS was in the hospital the nurse contacted the translator, she came walking in.. looked at me, looked at DS.. and said "I don't think you need a translator?".... "Umm, no". We joked about it for awhile and she tried speaking Spanish to DS, he was all confused.

I had a Head Start director page me to help a woman with her forms, I ran down to front desk to see why someone needed help.. she knew very little English.. sent her home to ask a family member to help her.. same as the desk clerk would have done.. It irks me that the director (and other senior staff) assumed that as my DH is Latino therefore I knew Spanish.. huh???

DH is student teaching in inner city middle school, the kids there told him he wasn't a "real Mexican" because he didn't know much Spanish. They also tried out some colorful words, he knew what those were at least and sternly told them to quit it.


Any whooo.....
Staying at Hojo's.. my Disneyland home. DH wanted me to stay somewhere that we knew was nice, he's very protective. Isn't that the sweetest.

BTW Let me introduce the real me... My name is Bernice, I live in the Twin Cities in MN. Married, two boys 10 and 13. I'm a demo lady for now, taught preschool in the past. DH is graduating this year for Elementary Ed.

I feel in a very short amount of time I have come to "really" know you. In that kind of "message boardy" way.

I'm Shawna a SAHM of a 6 year old daughter who is going on 16 and already has boy trouble and a 3 year old monster of a boy who thinks he is Captain Jack Sparrow. My husband and I met working at WDW almost 14 years ago and we have brainwashed my kids into Disney freaks. We normally have AP's to DL but they are currently expired. Have to ante up and renew next time we go.

As you can see we are all viably insane but I love my DIS friends even though they are headed for the looney ward.
