I am hoping to make it to the Electrical Parade on Sunday night at DCA! Maybe we can all meet up before that and sit together or something!

We have to see the electrical parade when we are there. It's been over a year since we were there when it was on. We love this!!!!! My fav spot to watch it is back near Jumpin Jellyfish.

The birthday party might be fun to do on Sunday as it may be a little more crowded. I know its early summer so it will be crowded anyway but I'm thinking Sunday might be worse than Monday SOOOO it will be good to eat up some time then. I think they had one about 2pm. Maybe at 1:45. I know they had them twice a day when we went last time. Something I can research!!!

You guys are awsome! I know that my kids would love to see the Electric parade, and my dh would be OH_SO embaresed at the birthday thing! Sunday it is then. It will also be our first full day there, so we wont be all sore and tired and cranky! (after our last trip we could barely move!) Last trip we didnt see any parades, barely saw the fireworks, and didnt see any shows.
So I am hoping to get touring tips from you all.

I could definitely give up CFA, I will just get it on our way out of town Tuesday instead! Garcia's would be great, do you really think it will keep because I would LOVE some!

Otherwise, I will definitely meet you! Where should we go? Anywhere you been wanting to try? Here are my choices that I would like to try out:
Steakhouse 55, Hook's Pointe, Naples or Catal. I also would like to try and fit in Goofy's Kitchen maybe (I figure it's much cheaper than if DH were with us!) but I'm still not sure on that one yet. What do you think, any other suggestions?

Yeah, I agree about the Steakhouse thing. I was just listing what i would like to try while there, but Nathan will be in no mood to sit through that after being in the car for 4 hours straight!

I don't know about Garcias. Definitely try it but since you are leaving so early you'd have to get it the night before. I was previously thinking you would be getting it around 1-2pm for some reason, I guess thinking that you would be getting into town around the same time as me. I may just get something and head to the pool to wear them out, so if you wanna head back an hour early or so and join us, cool.

I have never been to Goffy's before. Maybe that if you are up to it, I could make a 7:30 or 8 PS and you could hop the monorail and meet us there! Because I thought what if you can't check in when you get there and can't put the Garcias in the fridge till 3pm? Although I still really want mini chimis with that wonderful cream cheese dip (what was served with it? that stuff was awesome!)

Do you guys think my kids are to small for the BB? We thought we might give it a try, but Im not sure about the baby. Last time we went , she fell asleep at every meal.

Sleeping is great, and quiet! I am going to make a PS for it but just for dessert. Their menu does not interest me at all. I don't like anything cajun/creole at all so it's dessert for me or nothing!! I figure DS can make it through dessert at least.

How old is you DD? DS is 16 months old right now. Hopefully they'll be around the same age, that would be cute!

My dd is 22mo. they are close to the same age. But my dd is a moose! she weighs over 30lbs, and wears a 4t. I think they'll have fun together! Hopefully my dd wont think hes a doll and try to pick him up like she always does with the babys at the park! Dessert is all i want from there to! I want to try there creme brulee. Yum!

I'm back but I have to leave again. We have watched it from there but we found that if we watch it back by PP then we dont have to sit so long. it has never been crowded there. There were CM's playing a game of shoot the ball in the trash can and they gave out stickers to the kids who were doing this. We sat down about 10 minutes before parade time and didnt have anyone behind us or about 10 feet on either side of us. Maybe it was our B.O.
