I NEED a trip to DL.

Then watching the parade was great, the girls all belted out "Welcome to our Family" while AZ laughed and pointed at me because it brings tears to my eyes! Then I had to wear her stalker glasses for the rest of the night since I was all blotchy!! Then we hit the famous 25 minute Peter Pan ride, and said our goodbyes!

Now in my defense when I said the park was closing at nine, I knew that sometime during our trip the time had moved from 8 to 9. I thought that was for closing that night but it was really for opening Friday, which was at 9 and not 8. So there we have it!!

Walked back to the hotel and guess what!!! My friend and her oldest DD got deathly ill, up-chuck all night long!!! So Friday found her and her two sitting in our room ALL day and me and the girls on our own! Too bad AZ didn't stay, but luckily I crashed in on Lynn and her DD's party!

Albort was very mysterious the first day, I almost thought he worked for Shawna. By the second day though when I rode the disgusting horrid swinging gondola with him and Lynn and the kids, he loosened up a little when I held onto his leg for deal life. Yes, I Matterhorn, molested and ODV CM. More on that later!!!

Andrea

OKay, so Monday I was out of the door by 8:30 which would prove to be a very FULL 14 hour day for me and the girls with no naps or breaks (well a tiny one up in Lynn's room, which was awesome with a wonderful theme park view, but I'll let her tell ya!!) We had to go up in the middle of the day for me to blow dry DD#1's pants after Grizzly because I did not want to go back to HOJO!

So I met up with Lynn by the silhouette studio and we were off. We did a ton of rides, Storybookland, Matterhorn (of which I forgot live video feed I promised you all, please forgive me) Teacups, Space 2x, Buzz, Star Tours, Jungle Cruise, Indy, and I am sure some more I am forgetting and that was all before 11:30 am. It was GREAT for a Friday and I was pleasantly surprised. It was no worse than Thursday which was rare!

AND this one is for dizzyami. We were on IASW and Andrea pointed out that this face looked like dizzyami when she is upset with us!!!!! We had to take a picture.

For MATTERHORN

Tell me about it!
I left on Sunday and it was 16 pages, came back and had to quickly scan thru over 20 more pages to get back on track. Took time to sleep and had a dozen more to read.

And now you're back and the craziness will begin again! :lmao:

Screamed our heads off and Shawna pretty much recapped the rest. It was really great to meet her, she is not as nerdy as she seems on the board!!! HA HA I am just crackin myself up here!

DUDE! What the heck???????

Didn't you read my tag? I'm HOT. OK well just in my caravan! I'm so cool I scared you. Nerdy hmmph You are in so much trouble for that one!

/
And yes you will have to put on the back of your pictures who that is or just write "strange girl who wants to be a model" :rotfl2:

I will reply to the rest of your lies later. I have to clean toilets now. HA how cool is THAT?????:cool2:

Then it was time for my PS at Carnation Cafe which was great as usual! Called my friend to see if they felt better but no, so off I went to DCA (Lynn was already there to go to Ariel's Grotto) I got fastpasses for Soarin and Grizzly and went into the Brother Bear area, watched the show and basically pulled about 10 leg muscles doing all the rope climbs with the kiddos! Then we met Lynn outside Grizzly and her DD and mine went on together.

Then is was up to her room where the kids played on the balcony while we waited for the bellman! I dried DD's pants as best I could and we were off again! We hit Jumpin Jellyfish (5 times in a row might I add, it was EMPTY) I have never had that line be fast, and we walked back on and on, 5 rides in 15minutes is so my style. Then it was over to Screamin! Not much changes, I like the changes and the song on Space much better. They should have used their California song for this ride!

Then it was the carousel where Lynn's DD and I belted all the kids in and then actually rode ourselves!! It's been about 7 years since I haven't had to stand and hold a baby, so I took advantage.

Oh I forgot that the terrifying Sun Wheel was in there, which we wasted a half hour of our lives in line for!! Never again, that's all I have to say. I tried to block it out I guess that's why I skipped it!

Then we hit Monsters Inc three times in a row, complete walk on again with taxis just waiting stopped for someone!! Me likey!!! Anyways this was while Lynn and her DD braved TOT, which I was okay to sit out on after the ride of death!

Then we all went on Soarin together, Lynn was sniffin away like a madwoman. Funny stuff kept happening all day but darned if I can remember it all right now. Then we headed over to DL where we walked up and ate at Cafe Orleans. I did try the cheese monte cristo and I am so glad I did. I was scared from reports on here but I thought it was wonderful!!

Then Lynn left and the girls and I watched fireworks and headed back to our sick friends!!

Okay more later, I really have to do some laundry! But before I go I have to tell you all that DD's and I all got our own lanyards with dream pins this morning. It was the first time I had ever seen the Dream Squad and I feel blessed. It made our morning!!

Well, by the park closing at 8 instead of 9 we missed SM which was a blessing probably because even though they said they wanted to ride it they were so tired and cranky they would have cried the whole time and all the way back to the hotel. You should have seen me pushing the stroller with Morgan on my shoulders. It was so funny.

I'm glad Albort loosened up. I think he was nervous to be around so many women and kids! I wish I hadn't have lost them because it would have been fun to ride some rides with him. Next time Albort you can't sneak away while I'm on BTMRR. I think he took his chance and bolted while I was in line!!! :scared1:

Next trip we need to get dizzyami to go. Her daughter is the same age as our oldest so it would be fun to see 3 6 year old girls running in the park. Morgan loved Lauren and kept asking where she was when we split up before the parade. They were cute.

I'm sorry your friend got sick. That completely sucks! I swear I didnt poison her to get you alone and vulnerable for stalking. I had to leave that is my alibi. I hope she is feeling better. It was nice to meet her and her lovely daughters too.

I really wish I could have stayed on friday. Sounds like you had a great time. I was soooo tempted to call dh and tell him we couldnt be home for the dance but I'm glad I left, they had a blast.

He was scared of you and your sunglasses. :cool2:

I actually had a great time talking to Albort that day.
At one point I had a wave of exhaustion overcome me, I sat on the porch and he stayed and chatted with me.
We compared cost of living, gas prices, price of pizza (I live next door to a Domino's, walk across the porch and out the door with a medium one topping for $7) .. he has a thing for Costco pizza.... and has an Uncle who lives in Japan ($50 a pizza!).

He must have known I have a thing for living cheaply... Couponing is my second job...we hit it off very well.
I can only wish my own boys can be that brave.. meeting up with these crazy ladies takes real guts ( or trade "guts" with another word, I was going to then decided it would show my true me :lmao: ) ... when they grow up.

I think I might have missed it, but what hotels did you guys stay at? I know you stayed at HoJo's Shawna but what about everyone else.
The reason I ask is because when we go in November I think I wanna stay at a hotel closer to the park than HoJo's just because the walk home at the end of the day kills me.

funnygarcia and Andrea both stayed at the HoJO's It was a nice hotel and it wasn't that far to walk back but with a 6 year old who didnt want to walk it seemed farther.

Christina nice quote about how your generation invented text messaging. Smarty pants!!!! Wanted to say something else there too~!!!!!!!

I'll figure this out and text you all flippin day long!

Oh one more thing about HOJO. IF I got that rate again there (thanks Andrea) I would definitely stay again. It was a very nice hotel for Harbor clean and I felt safe with the indoor hallways which is a huge deal for me. I would carry dd back at the end of each and everyday knowing that I got such a great deal.

lol, once you figure out text messaging your first bill will quickly spoil the fun. It did for me anyway when my bill was over 100 dollars.

HoJo's is an easy walk the first two days but after that it seems like it's two hundred miles away and I really drag my feet. I like to do whole days at DL and not miss anything so I rarely stop which is why I thought maybe staying at the best western or something might be a good idea. But I do really like HoJo's and I like the hot tub especially. Your comment about with a 6 year old who doesn't want to walk makes it seem farther, well when I was there my 26 year old DH didn't feel like walking and I can't carry him on my back. He actually insisted we wait for the shuttle for half an hour when it's like a ten minute walk. And then the shuttle goes the opposite way of HoJo's and drops ppl off at other hotels before it makes the round back to HoJo's. I was so mad because it took us like 40 minutes to make a 10 minute walk but my lazy DH said it was worth it because his knee hurt. It makes me  thinking about it lol. Next time if he wants to shuttle I'll just meet him at the hotel.

Perfect good for you!!!! Make him take that LONG shuttle ride and you be in your bed sleeping for when he arrives. I like your thinking.

Well, I need to get the kids to bed. I'll be on later if I dont fall asleep. I have a big day tomorrow!!! I love birthday parties.pirate:

I am not fond of the walk either but for $54 a night, I will force my kiddos to walk it!!! You cannot beat that price. But for much closer I really like the Desert Inn and Suites (pattiPB is there tonight!) and it is clean and comfy and I can usually get really great prices there too!

Alright, well that's pretty much it for my trip!! I cannot wait till April, I hope some of you hyenas can make it!! If not, Lynn and I are for sure meeting up in June after school gets out!!

Funnygarcia, it was awesome meeting you! Thanks for hanging with me and my own personal wild hyenas (the girls!) I still think you are the bravest woman I know!!!

I briefly met Eatmypixiedust this morning, wish we could have hung out! Sorry we couldn't stay longer but we only hit three rides and then it was off on our ride home because her DD was not feeling well at all!

AZ, the girls had a blast and I am so happy that after meeting me, you still think I am stalk-worthy!!! We have to meet up again sometime!

Lynn, you aren't home yet but thanks so much (Mom!!) for taking us strays in for the day. You're daughter is a sweetie, and everyone don't listen to Lynn, her daughter secretly loves Disneyland, she just won't let her mom have the satisfaction of knowing!! I saw the gleam in her eye on more than one ride!!!

Alright, time to catch up on some other posts (GASP!) and laundry.

Andrea
