Sorry I missed you guys last night. I went to bed so early. I slept for 11 hours. Havent done that since college! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!

Albort, I wish I would have gotten a chance to say goodbye to you guys Thursday. So here it is now "Goodbye"

I should have had you show me how to text message!!!!!!!! That was too funny. None of us could do it. I'm going to read my manual and figure this thing out. I TOO want to be among the "cool" texters! Good luck today with the hyena hunt.

eatmypixiedust, did you go to dinner on Thursday night with Lynn and Jemilah? I wanted to walk down there but the kids were too tired. I should have dragged them! Are you getting your car today?

Well guys I have so much to do today. Tomorrow we are having a POTC birthday party at our park for my son who is turning 4! Hopefully dizzyami and her clan will be there. I have a newer, updated tracking device I need to implant. I'm so excited! I hope the rain stays away!

Yes! I got to eat dinner with Lynn on Thurs. night. I also met Jemilah and her sons. It was really fun! I'm currently waiting for Lynn in the lobby of the GCH. I had to defrost myself after riding the tram! I felt like I was going through a wind tunnel! Even Jack Frost was freezing! lol

Lynn is hooking me up with EE to DL. I've never been there early. Now I can stick out my tongue at and people in line and say neener! neener! Just kidding!

That was such a hoot.. you have a phone w text messaging and no clue how to use it.. she tired handing it off to each of us.. I have never text before so I was clueless. Andrea tried and gave up.. Maybe a new joke should be "How many insane hyenas does it take to text a message to Albort?"

We need a text messaging 101 class .. I'm 36 , the whole cell phone, texting thing is mind boggling to me. I remember having corded phones and record players for gosh sakes!

I said post if it is doesn't look too geeky-- ewwwwwwwwwww, I'm all squinty eyed and you can see glare on the glasses. DH and DS keep telling me "It's really not that bad" and DH says "You just like having something to complain about"... ummm ok.. so maybe I do like to complain.


Now to find something else to complain about hmmm....Worked today as demo lady, did not have enough product to sell.. what else is new.

For once I have no weird demo stories today. I usually have at least one weirdo per demo. I did have a lady today grab a tiny morsel of cereal from a souffle cup " It tastes ok" and then walked off.. leaving the rest of the sample behind... Like I'm suppose to give the rest to someone else, after your fingers have been all over the cereal? I gave her this look and made a big show of tossing it away. So there lady!
Busy day, gave out over 300 samples and had tons of people pass me without sampling. It's a tiny bit warmer today, that may be why the store was uber busy. They couldn't keep up restocking grocery and calling for extra cashiers.

So what has everyone else been doing today?

I slept off and on Friday until DH came home from class at 1:30.

Too quiet at home so I made a little nest on the couch. Fell asleep with remote in my hand and woke up when the it hit the floor THUD.. and the cat was sleeping on my legs and she looked at me MEOW!? with a scolding tone, stretched and sauntered away to find somewhere else to sleep.

Stayed up too late, going thru my 300 + email. Tidied up the apartment, sorted out the dishes the boys cleaned.. that were not clean-- eww! They get to do the dishes over again today.

Then slept in this morning, calculated in my head how much time do I really need to get ready for work? Dozed for another hour.. my DS visiting me every 10 minutes telling me about: what the cat was doing, what games DH bought while I was gone , did you buy the taffy we like from Disneyland?, where's the pin you bought me? and other things that are of great importance to a 10 yr old boy. I responded by saying "umm" "mmhmmm" "that's nice" "ok, you do that" until finally I woke up enough to crawl to the shower.

I think I have recovered now.

Well the trip was great! Lauren my oldest DD has found a new friend in Morgan who likes to be in pictures

So I'll start again and post the facts since Shawna painted me as a "get to DL late" person!!! Actually the friend that I was driving with called me at 6am when she was supposed to be picking me up and told me she was behind half an hour!! I hate that. Then we left and the last exit out of town was completely closed down so at 6:30 we were in one spot and at 7am we were in the exact same spot since we had to go back 10 miles on side streets and come back around!!

Needless to say we cruised in about 11, but friend wanted to stop at ChickFilA (they don't have those here) and I can't solely blame her for that because I love it too! Then it was 11:30, our room was ready so we decided just to check in and get it over with! This was when I decided to face my fears and called Shawna! Told her we were coming over, but I forgot my friend was buying AP's so we actually had to stand in the ticket booth line first which luckily wasn't too bad but our lady was SLOW!!!

Headed into the park to Teacups and lo and behold I see a strange figure across the way at Alice peering at me from behind dark sunglasses! Now who on earth could that be????

Okay then we met up and beat the kids until they all agreed to ride the Matterhorn! Churros make a really great whip!

Screamed our heads off and Shawna pretty much recapped the rest. It was really great to meet her, she is not as nerdy as she seems on the board!!! HA HA I am just crackin myself up here!

She failed to tell you that there was also a GIANT picture of Dizzyami on Small World, Shawna you have to post that picture on here!!
