Wow, I cannot believe that there is only 17 more days until we board Mickey's Boat Again. A holiday that I have been waiting for since we got off the boat 3 months ago.
We always, had this vacation booked, we had this vacation booked before we even knew we were expecting twins. It has always been tradition for us to book our next cruise onboard, so this cruise has been booked since August, 2008.
We were blessed in June of 2009, with identical twin boys, who I can't wait to share our love of Disney with. Disney is a place where my DH and I fell in love, it is a place our parents took us every summer. It is the place where we can escape our busy daily lives for 7, 10, or 4 days.
Our first cruise in August of 2009 (the boys were exactly 12 wks. old), was unexpected, DH sister could not go due to a work commitment, and it was passed the 75 day mark, therefore she needed to find a replacement for the suite so we seemed liked the perfect choice, so we took the adventure. We our an adventourous family.
These our the boys the day before we left for our cruise.
So much has changed, since we have got off Mickey's Ship.
DH took a job in LA, so we uprooted from all our family and friends and moved out there.
I have decided to become a stay at home mom.
The boys are twice the size they were, on the last trip. They are hardly babies anymore.
Here is the most recent picture of them:
Why, I am looking forward to this cruise:
Since we moved out to LA, things have been high speed. DH has been working non-stop. This cruise will help slow that pace down for seven days at least.
DSIL and her husband our joining us on this cruise, they graciously gave us their August Cruise, so I am glad we can repay the favor, but more importantly. They have not seen the boys since they were born, and they have changed so much.
It is also a cruise of First Time Experiences:
It will be the first time the boys are on an airplane (I am scared).
It will be the first time we try some excursions with them:
Tortola: Island Drive and Beach Break
St. Johns / St. Thomas: Butterfly Anytime
We are back to our early dining time, so we will not be putting the boys to sleep in Flounders. I have not even booked any Flounder Hours at this time. The boys will be joining us in the dining room, but we really have never taken them to a restaurant because they have their own meals. This is a concern but we will get through it. I am bringing their own food with me.
I am looking forward to this trip, I can't wait to share our experiences with you. I already know it will be a different experience then the first.
