I need a new high speed internet provider

I have cable modem with Time Warner and Earthlink is my provider. It's pretty fast and very reliable. I pay about $55/month which also includes basic cable.

Earthlink needs a phone line, it's DSL.

I had them for a year and when it was up I din't renew. They were down often and when I would call it took forever to get service. Once I was down for 2 days and they said they were doing routine maintenence.

On the plus side I learned to call whenever it was down for more then 3 hours and they always gave me credit on my next bill.

Wow, either you had bad luck with them or I'm a lucky one because I've had very good success with Earthlink. It's reliable and their technical support is top notch. I would recommend them to anyone.
