:hug::hug::hug: good luck tomorrow:wizard:

we are waiting for our Offstead inspection at the Pre school I work at My heart goes everytime somebody rings the doorbell at the moment :eek:

Hey Tracy,

Huge hugs for you chick!

Listen - we always build this up to be much, much worse than it actually ends up being. Just keep a calm head, and teach as brilliantly as Im sure you do - don't try to do anything fancy as your children will pick up on the change and not respond well. The other big advice I want to give is to remember to react to the children in your lesson - my most outstanding teacher last inspection got so flustered about following her plan that she didn't respond to the needs of the children and the lesson fell flat!

Fingers crossed - hopefully it will be at least GOOD and then they'll be off your back for the next 5 years!!!

Thinking of you!!

Tracy, I feel your pain. ;) I've been through 3 and I was super-stressed the whole time. The thing is - it will all be over really quickly and I'm sure everything will be just fine. I'll be thinking of you.:hug:

:hug:thanks guys, mickey-our head is an ofsted inspector, so we are being done by hmi..
i have 2 child protection and 1 looked after kid in my TG, so im bound to see them, im now at the stage where i have done everything i can think of, im just going to be "me" heavy sarcasm, and make the kids laugh..
my classes are hard tomorrow, 12/20 SEN or EAL so going to be an uphill struggle.
last time i was observed (internally) i got an outstanding...which i know i wont get tomorrow (new school/classes etc) i just want to get through this new experience...
i quite liked being called chick:hug:

You have my full sympathies, having been through 3 inspections. You WILL be fine, though it is hard to believe! Try to be yourself and it will be all over soon! Best of luck. xx

Hey it will be brilliant - I really enjoyed ours which was in October. I don't mind anyone watching me teach - I forget they are in the room and get on with it. They watched me for four lessons over three days which were all rated as very good or outstanding. It is such a great feeling to get a professional pat on the back which I am sure you very much deserve. You will be great chick :hug::hug:

it always shocks me the number of teachers on the dis..are we all big kids or what???:lovestruc
thanks for your kind thoughts, ill keep you updated with how its going..
ill be :confused3 and:scared1: for the next 48 hours and there might be a bit of this:sick:, and this:teacher: too!!
