I need a break, something has to give!

Mom came yesterday to take me to see my Endocrinolist (my diabetic speclialsit) for my regular 3 month visit. My visit went very well, I had just last week saw my regular Primary Care Dr. for my regular visit and all was well. However I did tell Dr. yesterday that if he could please check my throat and left ear as they started to hurt me the day before! No problem (all of my Dr's are very good to me) He checked and said that my throat was very red, and that my ears seem to be fine. He went ahead and gave me a Rx for some Penicellian(spelling oops) to go ahead and knock out whatever is starting.

On the drive home, I started to get a headache, I hardly ever get them. It was not bad at all, just that I knew it was enought to let me know I had one. So Mom and I go to The Texas Roadhouse to eat finally and I really enjoyed it. We stopped to get the Rx filled. I started to take the meds. right away. During the night, my throat got worse, my voice became horse, and my body just started to ache, etc. DH says, I think you might have the flu! I am up and feeling just blah, so soup and jello for me today, I will just have to take the meds and hope it runs it's course!

On Monday I see the Transplant Team, I am hoping for some good news! DD is also coming home from college on Monday for a week. I am hoping to be able to go out some with her. Maybe a little shopping and lunch.

So looks like I am in the house for a little while longer now! The weekend is suppose to be real cold and bitter, so I guess I don't mind. I just need a break from all of this! Maybe a trip to WDW, yeah that's what I need!

Well, bummer!!! When it rains, it pours. However, get it all out of your system now so that you will, (hopefully, fingers crossed) feel better next week for your daughter's visit.

Until then, have your DH go to the video store and get lots of movies. Then just sit under a blanket all weekend and relax while watching movies.

Yes that is me, I got married on Mickey Mouse Birthday. Nov. 18th. 2000! I was Cinderella and did a complete Disney Themed Wedding..

I hope that you feel better soon!!!! Penicillin is a great antibiotic. If you don't feel better soon, you probably have a virus. We are overloaded with patients that have viral infections. Hope that you feel better real soon!!!!
