Hello, my name is Lori and I am an addict.
The urge to be reading threads on the DIS Board has taken over my life.
I read at home, in the morning, at night, and all through-out the day.
I read at school when I should be working on my many class assignments.
My husband and children just shake there heads as they walk by and see DISboard on my screen.
I urge you one and all to come foward........

DISCLAIMER: There will be NO intervention for the brave who come clean because :disrocks:

My name is Angel and I thought I could quit at anytime. Sure it strarts out innocent enough a little Dis here and there, I could quit.
Next thing you know you are Dising before a meeting, or while your bath is running.
No big deal, right?
Wrong, the Dis is addictive and should come with a warning label! :confused3

Hi, my name is Luvflorida and I'm addicted to Disboards.

I just got back from a weekend shopping trip to Massachusetts. I've been gone from Disboards for over 43 hours. I walked into the house, set my suitcase down in the kitchen, said "hi" to the cat, and headed to my computer to check out Disboards. Thankfully, nobody is looking for me, yet. I feel like a fugitive. As soon as I hear footsteps coming in my direction, I must immediately sign off and interact with the rest of my family. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hello, my name is MouseWorshipin, and I'm a DISaholic.

We can't have a 12-step program around here. Even if we could get past the part about admitting we're powerless, we'd never get past the higher power part. Whose higher power?! Don't force your higher power down my throat! My higher power has been around longer than yours. Well, my higher power is a flower. I don't care what your higher power says! Who says there is a higher power? :teeth:

We'll all just have to stay addicts!!!

My DH just took the kids to the store so that I could get a nap.....ok that was 45 minutes ago and I've been on the DIS since they left - even though I'm sleepy!

My name is shelby.
I don't know why i'm even posting
I don't have problem.

I really don't.

...

You don't believe me.

I seriously don't have a problem

I can quit anytime.

Really!
I can.

:rolleyes1

Yeah, I'm with Sparx

I can quit....sure, I mean I might check it whenever I get a break or I'm feeling a little stress, but I'm in total control.....I can quit, why are you looking at me like that? ;)

and the fact that I keep checking back on this thread for replies means NOTHING.

I'm fine.
:teeth:
really.

Okay - I am Petrymom and I too am an addict.

Well, I suppose it is better than food!!! Oh,wait I am usually munching and reading at the same time!!!!

Who needs a clean house when you have Disboards!!!!! :)

It's all a state of mind....

and the state is Florida :rotfl2:

I knew I was a junkie when I checked the DIS from a kiosk at a work convention I was at last week!

But I am one with the mouse :rotfl2:

Hi, my name is Zippa. I used to have a struggle with my burgeoning DIS addiction, but now I have just given myself over to it. Alas, I fear that now that daylight savings time is here :hourglass I will find myself outside more and pounding away at my notebook computer less. Be brave for me, fellow DIS addicts!

none of you are 'suffering' from an addiction. you're all enjoying every minute of it. :p

If there stood a chance at all of curing me, it's going to take a LOT more than 12 steps. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but he has his own addiciton: www.talkbass.com :confused3

I'll stick with the mouse. :disrocks:
