We need help with 1 more table service meal. We aren't very adventurous eaters so we are having some trouble. Heres is our list so far:

Chef Mickeys
LTT
Whispering Canyon
50's Primetime
Crystal Palace(breakfast)

It is DH, DS-8,DD-6 and myself on the dining plan.

What hotel are you staying at? What meal: B, L, or D?

I've heard great things about Kona and O'Hana, both of which would give you lots of 'bang for your buck.'

I would go with Chef Mickey's. The buffet has somthing for everyone and the characters are great.

Take a peek at the Concourse Steak House--pretty good food with a basic menu and a great value on the MYW plan. Also agree with earlier poster--the Kona Cafe is great, and I'm sure your kids would love OHana. Lots of good choices!

We are staying at POP. We already have a Chef Mickeys PS. Any meal really, our schedule is flexable. I will check out the menus at Kona Cafe and the Concourse. My family hates veggies so Im not sure about Ohana, but I will check it out too. Thanks :)

Teppanyaki I dont know if its on the dining plan but its plain grilled meats and veggies! nice simple foods and the chef cooks it in front of you!

I would add OLIVIAS at Old Key West as your other sit down - it is on the dining plan and is very good. Since you say you are not adventerous eaters - this would probably be a good place for you. The food is good and basic. A steak is a steak - it is not a piece of meat with garlic butter blue cheese dressing over it with mushrooms ala polenta garnish on the side - it is basic good normal food - I would highly recommend it!

My second suggestion would be Concourse Steakhouse - haven't yet been myself but am planning on going in Sept.

Happy eating!

well, i wasn't sure if that was a list of ressies that you have already, or if that is a list of places to go to that you are choosing from... and wasn't sure if it was for breakfast or dinner?

but i would definitely reccommend Ohana's for dinner. :cheer2: :cheer2:
this is a DO NOT MISS! the food there was awesome!!! they have a fire grill pit in the center of the restaurant where they grill unlimited amounts of pork, turkey, ribs, steak, and shrimp. and they keep coming buy to see if you need any more of anything. the coconut bread there is awesome. they bring out some appetizers that stay at your table and they refill, which is pork fried rice, shrimp and crab wontons, bbq wings, green beans, salad, etc... they were all GREAT!

if you are their during fireworks at mk, they pipe the music in to there for you, and turn the lights down so that you can see the fireworks. (try to see if you can get a window table for this)

they also have games for kids during dinner... they had a coconut rolling contest, and a hula hoop contest... too cute.

Thanks for the Ohana info. It looks wonderful  Plus we want to budget to stay at the Poly on our next trip so that would give us a chance to check it out. :cool1:

I know you say you are picky, but Boma at AKL has something for everyone, and although the food is not what you may be used to, it is close enough to "normal" that it may be a really good experience for you. Check out the menu: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_bomadin.htm

i would also have to vote for Ohana's- that is a staple of every Disney trip for us. Great food and my daughter loves the games.

What about Grand Floridan? We have been there for breakfast and it is good. Grand Floridan has both character breakfast and dinner. :flower:

I'd go to Cape May buffet at the Beach Club. We dined here with a big crowd, with quite a few picky eaters, and everyone raved about it. Eat a chocolate bon-bon from the dessert buffet for me!

What about Le Cellier or SciFi dine in? Both of those places have "normal" food, though SciFi is definitely more fun. The kids might like eating in the "dungeon" at Le cellier, though.

I would second the vote for SciFi. I had the best cheeseburger and onion rings there and it was really fun.

The best meal we had in November was actually at Trails End (don't know if that is on the dining deal or not). It is down home American food made better than you've ever tasted. I won't ever miss this simple place again on a trip.

I'd second the Trail's End buffet idea (though it is one of the least expensive sit down meals, so it's not as much "value" on the dining plan). However, the food is great!
