I must be obsessed, anyone planning 2009?!

So glad to know I'm not alone. We are planning a trip for June 2009 for ten days. We are taking our two kids, plus both sets of grandparents. Right now I'm just trying not to talk about it everyday so the rest of the family doesn't think I'm completely insane!!!!

Ok I don't feel so bad now. Been counting down the days until I can make my ADR's next month so I can get all the restaurants I want. Just paid off my trip this morning(save airfare & soon i'll have that too) & I just glanced at my calendar to see that my dates for next year will be September 14-22. I always go for my birthday(21st) & I really wanna do another MNSSHP. Hopefully next year I may not have to go alone for the third year in a row. Only 217 days left until i'm headed home!

We are going in June 2009. I just don't have solid dates yet. We had APs last time and went 3 times in 12 months. We are not going this year, b/c we want (need) to upgrad our H/AC units this year.:scared:

Yes, the planning has already begun. :cheer2:

actually I will be planning a second trip when we return from WDW in may and probably a 3rd this year for a sweet 16 in November. I am also planing for 2009 some time between Oct and December of that year depending on the 2008 trip we do in Oct-Nov. So we get the best use of our annual pass we will purchase on that trip.

:cool1: :cool1:

 I have all my vacations planned until 2010.. That is a trip to Italy to france to see disneyland Paris on the way home .. So it is never to early to plan :smickey:

We have the wheels in motion for our March 09 trip as well.

MODisney - we are going to Italy this summer, we could make 5 trips to WDW for what that is setting us back -

2010 we will return to WDW with more of my family - brother and his family and our parents. Planning that one as well, but we are going to see how our stay at the Boardwalk (2009) goes before making a final resort decision for that one. If that is the crazy train, then we are riding on it :rotfl:

I was worried I was alone in planning that far ahead of time. We are planning to go Feb 21st thru the 28th, 2009. Mardi Gras time here. I am already obsessed. My husband says it gives me more time to change what we do. I am doing the dance:cool1: :cool1:   :yay: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:

we are thinking about 2009, it has come up several times in discussion, but we probably will play something while we are at WDW in May! Can't Wait!

we have gone 2 July's in a row- '06 and '07 so we have to take this summer off to save up :headache: but we'll be back July '09 :rotfl:

Nah, it is never too early to start obsessing -- I don't even have June's vacation completely paid for yet and I am already thinking of Food/Wine Festival and MNSSHP in October; annual June trip with a stay at CBR in 2009; and DH wants to celebrate her 13th birthday at WDW in July of 2010. So, nah, it is never too early to start obsessing ;) .

We just booked our timeshare at Orange Lake Country Club for April 19-26, 2009. I was jumping for joy when we did it- DH laughs and thinks I'm crazy too.

I am so excited already!!

I started planning the dates for our January 2010 trip on our drive back from our January 2007 vacation! We talk about it all the time, and I just love all the planning. Makes the fun last 3 years, not just the 8 days we will be in the happiest place on earth!:wizard:

Our 08 trip is in 11 days! I'm also planning for Jan 09 and maybe Dec 09!

Count me in too!! We are planning our first trip since 1993, and first for the kids, dd5 ds3. We are plannning to go January 5-12.. for my dd birthday!!!

We have firm plans for 2008 May & Sept., maybe a short trip in Jan. 2009, then 1 week in Sept. 2009 to try out an AKL SV Villa, Nov. 2010 is our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we are going to spend it at OKW...So on to 2011!

I agree with the other posters who say why have the magic last only 7 or 8 days...It can last a lifetime at this rate!!!

Oh, I admit, we are Disney Freaks, but we have some much fun! And people often as us what we get out of all this Disney stuff. I guess that's 'cause we're going to be 55 this year and some folks out there in the world think WDW is for kids.

We even have a new boat on order, it kinda looks like a little tug boat and we are naming it "Steamboat Willie". Even the boat broker/salesman has gotten in on the act and sends us construction pictures of "Willie" as he calls it!!!

Wow! I guess I'm not alone in my celebrating! It looked like my brother and his family might not be able to go, but circumstances changed again and he confirmed they will. His daughter (10) is so excited, I saw her this weekend and the first thing she said was 'Let's talk about Disney!' She reminisced about the last trip, I gave her the planning dvd, and she told me...sniff... that I was the source of Disney Magic! (I'm the planner and the one to talk about it endlessly) wasn't that the sweetest!:flower3:

We're planning on May 2009--but we haven't picked the exact dates yet. It will be our first family trip!!:cheer2:

We leave in 12 days but will be back in January 2009 as DH and I are registered for the Half Marathon with friends. We'll stay Jan 8-11, most likely at CSR, and then head to the Bahamas till the 15th.

Then in August 2009 I am taking my oldest dd for a Mom and Me birthday trip for her 12th. We'll go for like 5 days, probably towards the 3rd week or so of August.

Allyson :)
