It was pretty easy to get in and you didn't need a reservation for that part of the restaurant, as I recall. We used to love to go in the late evening just to have dessert and coffee. One of my all-time favorites was the "World's Best Hot Chocolate," which was made from a melted Scharffenberger chocolate bar and came with 3 little house-made pastries, which varied with the day.


You could also get things like 2-person-sized pizza on a breadboard and other casual bar food. But that was long ago, sigh.
