I miss the old Napa Rose Lounge

It was pretty easy to get in and you didn't need a reservation for that part of the restaurant, as I recall. We used to love to go in the late evening just to have dessert and coffee. One of my all-time favorites was the "World's Best Hot Chocolate," which was made from a melted Scharffenberger chocolate bar and came with 3 little house-made pastries, which varied with the day.




You could also get things like 2-person-sized pizza on a breadboard and other casual bar food. But that was long ago, sigh.

Looks yummy! Never had it but I miss Napa Rose in general. Was really hoping to do the Chef's Table in December until they put the opening off.

I've got some fond memories of evenings in that lounge. Sad that it is gone.
