I lived in CA until I was 10 when my family moved to TN. I used to get to go to DL about once a year, even after we moved. That was my home Disney park, the one I grew up with. I've been about 10 times.

In college, I made it to WDW. I did a wk there on vacation, then the following year I came down on the college program. Now that I've graduated college, I moved to FL to work at WDW fulltime. Sadly, it's been 9 years since I've had the chance to return to CA.

However, my sister has just taken the leap and returned to Los Angeles. And I just started being able to accept tips at my job. Sooo....I've decide to save my money for a trip back to CA in the spring! And of course, that would include returning to DL for the first time since DCA was just a parking lot being dug up! I'm so excited about the idea. I now know the FL parks like the back of my hand. I can even tell you where most of the restrooms are. I can't wait to finally go "home." I know it's changed so much since I was last there.

How exciting for you AngieBelle!!!
I was born and raised here and cannot imagine being too far from DL. Anyway, I hope you can make it, only advice is to avoid spring break time - it is crazy busy then. Happy planning;)
