I may lose my job but at least I have a PTR! Live update from POFQ

I'm going to Florida on FRIDAY June 6th! Yes that's right only 4 DAYS!!!!

ok. So I"m still sick and so is DH. I'm going to the DR tuesday and he's going to a ENT on June 11th. I was laying on the couch and my DS comes walking over with an envelope. Well my birthday isn't until June 10th so I was wondering why I was getting an envelope on June 1st. I opened it and it was a Brithday card from DS asking if he could go stay at Grammy's while DH and I are in FL THIS WEEKEND!!!!

It's going to be my 30th birthday and I warned DH I didn't want a surprise party so he booked us 3 nights at the Royal Pacific in US and dinner at Blue Zoo!

I can't believe he did all this. We leave early Fri and get back Mon night. He even talked to my boss and told her I wouldn't be in on Monday! I love him so much!!!

Gotta go pack!

And a BIG thanks to all for the well wishes. I'm still suffering some sinus pain but that might just be allergies and not actual sickness. The weather here is driving me bonkers. One day 55 the next 75! My body can't catch up!

What a wonderful surprise! We use to complain about it being cold one day and then warm. Now it is just hot. 100's for a couple of weeks now!

I've been a bit of a slacker since I went off to FL. The trip was great and my DH had so many surprises for me. Please check out my TR on the Universal thread. I'll attach the link in my siggie one of these days!

I've been busy buying all kinds of stuff for September. I had to hold myself back in FL from buying t-shirts at Walgreens. They were only like $5!! But then was not the time! I got a misting fan from Walmart for $5. DH will be in heaven this September. I also got some cheapo glow sticks for DS. I'm not sure if he's too little but I figure grammy or myself can help him and be entertained too! I think he's past the point of putting things in his mouth though so that's good. I got some shirts for DH, he likes the moisture wisking kind for the hot humid FL weather.

Grammy's been hard at work shopping too. But all her stuff is clothes! She'll be well dressed!

The last bit of news is DS is finally becoming a little walking bug-man so at least he's mastering that before we leave. He's getting too heavy to carry everywhere!

Hopefully I'll have somemore updates soon. Oh, and my dad asked me if Brady will be ready for an Easter vacation trip to the Ft Wilderness! My dad drives down with his trailer everyyear for the past 30 years. He thinks maybe Brady is ready for next year! Wow, maybe I'll look into annual passes!

Ok. I'm at the shopping thing again! I went to Disney Shopping online and found a cute Mickey sweatshirt that I NEED! I asked DH last night to buy it for me and he says "why do I have to buy you a sweatshirt, just order it if you want it." Really I only asked him because I didn't want him to be alarmed when he sees the box being delivered to our house! He gets so mad when he sees things being delivered! "What are you buying now?"

Well I've gone and done another surprising thing too. I booked FW campsite for next Easter to travel down with my father and step-mom. Ok, so I am SOOOOO not a camper. My dad always travels with his trailer (30') to FL every year (since I was 1 yr old!). I've only ever gone with him 2x when I was a kid. We did a little bit of local camping and Hershey Park camping but nothing like 7 days and nights of WDW camping with my adult parents and a 1yr old! Actually I'm thinking it will be fun. I only get scared when I think of the bugs and the showers. DH is actually the one who's more reluctant and he ENJOYS camping. He thinks the sleeping is going to be to0 "close" quarters for him. We'll see if we actually make it for thsi trip but I think I'll be upgrading our tickets to add 5 more days and make them no expiration. That way we'll be set for next time and not have to pay for lodging or tickets! I'm sure DH will blow that savings on getting a golf cart to ride around FW for $50 a day!

OK, Dh just went back to work after 1 weeks vacation. He just emailed me and all it said was "Upgrade to Wilderness Lodge in September!"

He either got a raise or needs another vacation really really badly!

I told him not to question my ability to actually go ahead with the upgrade!

Oohhh! A raise would be nice wouldn't it. But, it sounds like something I would say after only a couple of hours on a Monday after being off for a week.
