DS has a leak in his bedroom and Gene came home and decided to fix it. Because of the way the roof is over Justin's room (it used to be a porch), Gene had to climb in a cubby hole up in the attic. It's a tight space and he slipped. I'm on the computer and hear this thud... lo and behold... my kitchen ceiling.

Gene, being Mr. Fixit, decided that the best way to fix the ceiling for now is with......

You guessed it......

Duct tape!

Like any good father, he wanted to pass his skills along to his children, and enlisted Justin in this manly right of passage.

Of course, if one piece of duct tape won't do the job, just use two... or three... or ten.

And this is what you get.

And he's mine, all mine.

Believe me Laura, Mr. Fixit would have done the same thing until he got the stuff to fix it right.

Well... according to Red Green.... if you can't be handsome... then you might as well be "handy". LOL! too funny!

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh......well.......(hehehehheeheee).....OK.....I, er.....well......Hummmm......Did I say.........Hummmm....

:teeth:...I can't say anything ! :teeth:

ROTFL!!!

Laura, that's hilarious! My DH would have used masking tape!:p :p

LOL!!!! That looks like my kitchen ceiling has looked for 2 1/2 years......although...instead of duct tape.....DH used clear packaging tape!!!

They were putting duct work in our house for central air back in 2000.....and he accidentally went through the kitchen ceiling from upstairs!!! He said he would fix it ASAP....it would be easy.......and IT IS STILL patched with the packaging tape!!!!!

Maybe I should post a picture!!!!!

Duck tape the universal tool.:bounce: Where would us men be with out it. A few more stips and a coat of paint and that ceiling will be good as new:p :p :p

I feel you pain
but what about the leak?
Oh I'm so sorry
I would call a repairman now before it's too late

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Laura, this is so funny. I work in a department with 2 women, and 11 men. They have pulled us over to the 'duct tape can fix anything' religion. They will love this.

Debbie

my husband belongs to the same religion. If it can not be fixed Duct it.!!!!!! thanks for sharing Kim

He's obvisouly well-studied and very advanced in the science....nay, the ART, of duct taping.
