Me and my husband and our 4 kids are coming to Disney in 25 days! :cool1: On our first full day we have a PS seating for breakfast at Donald's Breakfastaorus. My question is the breakfast is at 8:40, so can you just go into the park after or do you have to wait for the park to official open? Sorry I am a 1st timer at this. I guess I will just write down everything we are doing and I will let you tell me what you think :confused3 Monday is Animal Kingdom, Tues is Magic Kingdom, Wed. is Sea World, Thurs. is MGM, and Friday is 1/2 day at Gatorland, and 1/2 day shopping or going to the beach? On the days we will be at the parks we will spend a few hours there and then head back to our cabin at Ft. Wilderness, and then back to the same park for the late afternoon or evening. Our 2 and 5 yr. old will need a nap by then, and probably me too! The older two are 10 and 16 and they will probably go swimming at this time. I don't plan on eating alot in the parks, my kids are very picky and when they are exicited they won't eat much anyhow. They are insisting on Pizza Planet when we are at MGM. (Toy Story nuts) And of course the breakfast buffett the first day. We are going to pick up food and supplies for the cabin after we get checked in, and most likely will eat there everyday but Monday. I am just amazed at the planning this takes, I was so overwhelmed. I enlisted our local travel agent and they made this much easier. Oh, we will also have a rental van at the airport. One more thing, do the resort, and parks give you maps when you get there? You guys are awesome and I will be on this site until the Friday before we leave.

Since your breakfast ps is at 8:40 you can eat and then go into the parks. It will probably take you about an hour give or take to finish the brekfast and have all the characters circulate to your table. AK probably opens at 9am or earlier so the park will already have been open by the time you are finished eating. You do not have to re-enter the park or anything like that. You just leave breakfast and start having fun. Also when you check in at Ft. Wilderness in the lobby at check in should be park maps and a list of times that you can take with you. It will also tell you the times the park is open earlier or closes later for disney hotel guests. Which is called EMH ( extra magic hours). You can pm me if you have any other questions about this stuff.

With 8:40 am reservations, the park will already be open when you are done. Head to get a Fast Pass at the Safari ride; it and the Festival of the Lion King SHow are my families favorites. Plus, "It's Tough to Be a Bug" 3D movie is great. You get really wet on the Kali River ride, so I hear. After 4 trips to AK, we still have never been on. We are a family that spends only a half day at AK, and move on to EPCOT after our noon break.

Thanks everyone. Did you like the It a Bugs Life? I have been talking and reading about this, but alot of people think it is too intense for the little ones? I think my 5 year old would be fine, but the 2 year old is another story. Just curious. My husband could take the 2 year old to do something else while I take the other kids.
