I made my husband Tivo the Travel Channel for the two shows today. He is watching the one on the Disney Cruise Line right now. During the last comercial he says, "Man, we should do that." Now, this is a man who loves his toys. He has a mustang GT and a Harley and is thinking of trading in his car to get a better "toy". He looked at me and said, "Maybe I will keep the car and we can plan to go in a year or two." We already have a December trip planned (our second Disney trip), and I figured that was about as much Disney I could get from him. Looks like he is turning over to our side! Just knowing he thinks it is something we should think about planning for is such an exciting feeling! Gotta go, and start looking around on the DCL site!
I just got finished watching... makes me tear up every time, it's my one true wish in life, to go on a disney cruise. But don't see it happening any time soon.
We have never gone on a cruise, and should I ever get to, it will be on Disney! Dh didn't grow up with family vacations, so it took a lot of convincing on my part to get him to agree to our first trip in Dec 04. We are a family of 5, so it will take some serious planning and saving, but that will make it all the more special!
My youngest starts kindergarten in the fall, and I will be subbing to start a vacation fund.
Lyeag, there is nothing better than a DCL cruise! One big tip...if you are planning on going in a year or two book as soon as possible. The earlier you book the better the price. You can always cancel up to 75 days before your cruise date without penaly if you must. You can save a lot of money by booking early. Will see you at the DCL board. That is my "home".
