The pictures of Mickey proposing are absolutely priceless! I hope at least one of those gets framed.
Good idea Graham, you've been emotionally scarred and need some time on the Wonder to recoup!
Two close calls with bananas in one night!? Not good
I think I may have to work on this. I am not sure about framed, but I may get this printed on a canvas the next time I get an offer for this.
I was pretty annoyed that I had two near misses in one evening, but there were no further issues for the rest of the cruise and something amazing happened the next day.
I was enjoying your photos yesterday on a bigger screen. Jo brought home her laptop for me to see. Jo loves the photo of Mickey prosing too! Thinks it would have been funny to turn him down and tell him your heart belongs to Graham. We can just imagine the way Mickey would pretend to cry!
I was admiring the staircase behind you both on the ship. The Mickey heads in the framework. Oh my word! How glorious! What beautiful ship.
I could also see your jewellery in more detail and your dresses. Gorgeous details. I like that the polka dot one has what looks like a lace over the bottom? Love the jewellery all of it!
I am glad that you enjoy the photos. I could not have done this to my friend Minnie after we had some quality Girlie time on this cruise.
It is actually netting at the bottom of the dresses. They are supposed to be 50s style. I just really like them.
Corinna, I am back from NYC and all caught up. What a lovely day at Chankanaab. It looks beautiful. And a bonus tequila tasting, how cool.
I love your polka dot dresses (both of them) and your hair looks lovely tied back
I had to laugh at the picture of you and Donald up on deck - he looks as though he's had a bit of an accident
Welcome back. Chankanaab is beautiful. We sometimes half-heartedly say that maybe we should try something else in Cozumel, but we always end up back at Chankanaab. The Tequila tasting was definitely a bonus.
I have to go back and check out that photo.
A pb and j pancake sounds delicious!
Beachwear characters are adorable. Loving the photos.
I love anything peanut butter so I was in heaven.
I was so thrilled to have the characters out in their beach outfits as they normally only wear them at
Castaway Cay and I have always been too busy with other stuff there.
I'm also back from Corfu and all caught up and agree with Joh. I also like the dress from the garden shop, I think garden centres are under-rated, you often find great items in them. I really like the last photo in the 2nd polka dot dress. Naughty Mickey getting down on one knee to you, Minnie will be devastated.
Welcome back. Maybe I need to team up Minnie with Graham
I feel like I am totally behind with commenting!! I am totally amazed about the speed with which you can write a trip report!!
I am happy to hear that the kid's pancake is good. I saw that on the menu and was so tempted to get it, but then got something else instead (good, too). But next cruise I just have to try this as I love peanut butter!
Chakanaab (or similar) sounds like a great place. I had considered it, but then we wanted something beachier. But I think if I get back to Cozumel it would be very high on the list!
Those beachy characters were very cute! We ended up meeting Daisy and Stitch as well.
Sorry about the allergy situation! I always thought they were so good about this... Obviously not. But how nice that you felt comfortable to go to dinner on your own! That's certainly an advantage of having table mates!
I tend to spend every spare minute working on my trip reports. As I commute to and from work by train, I get plenty of time to do so. I have got behind a little though.
I can definitely recommend the pancake.
I think they are very good with mainstream allergies (nuts, dairy, shellfish, gluten, etc.), but something slightly off the wall tends to throw them completely. Of course, we have not just one, but two unusual allergies in the family. Graham is allergic to chocolate.
I would not have gone to dinner on my own on the first night, but by then things were settled and people at our table felt comfortable with each other.
HA!! I was wondering where your trip report was. Silly me, forgot to look for it on the UK forum...
Off to start reading of your adventures!
Jackie
.
Welcome on board. I like posting in the UK section as we just have one for any trip report. I just find it to confusing to have different trip report boards for different kinds of vacations especially as mine are usually a mix of different things.
I'm sorry that you didn't get into the Chocolate Tasting. It sold out really quickly on our cruise too.
The pictures with all the characters in their beach wear are just so cute!
That is very scary that you had so many near chances with the bananas. They really need to be careful of this and keep better track of the guests! I'm glad the day was still a good one!
Well, I figure you always need a reason to book another cruise

I will get this chocolate tasting done eventually.
I loved the characters in their beach outfits.
I know that my allergy is a rare one. I sometimes think that they look at our records and think: "This can't be". I was diagnosed when I was in my late teens more or less by accident. I then did not meet anybody else with the same allergy until I met my now mother-in-law. She just happens to be allergic to bananas, too. Since then, I have met a few. The photographer who did our vow renewal photos is also allergic to bananas as is our
travel agent. It is quite comical at times. Sometimes I just hit it off with somebody straightaway and then it turns out later that we share the same freak allergy.
To give them credit, after this low point, things went great food-wise.
