I finally broke down and bought one a week ago and I love it. It can punch anything! DS even punched thru an entire magazine, and I read that it can punch thru a cd and I was skeptical that it wouldn't shatter it so I tried it. Yes it can! If you don't have one it's a must have tool! Don't ever want to punch or set eyelets without it again!

Welcome to the club! I love mine! I don't know how I lived without one!

i have had mine forever and NEVER used it! it's been on the shelf just sitting there. maybe i should break it out and give it a try!

I love mine and DS(7) is fascinated and can't wait to get his grubby hands on it :)

I'm sure I will find holes punched in lots of things as 12yo DS had fun playing with it the other day! DDs boyfriend was even facinated with it the other night. I am just amazed with how easily and softly it punched thru this stuff!

isn't it the bomb!!!
Do you have the mickey head eyelets from WDW? It works like a dream on those!

I didn't buy them because I thought they would be too hard to use, but now they are on my list!

i have those! maybe i should break open my cropodile and give it a try! i am desperately trying to work on our 2005 album and we are going this year. how will i EVER be caught up.
not to mention ds(who's only 5) book. poor thing. his will never be finished. dh always says that i'll scare off any potential girlfriends when they say, do you have any pics of him when he was little???!!!

I have a question. What's an easy way to remember which dial to turn the little thingies to for each type of embellishment? I can't find the cardboard backing from the package that lists it all, and I keep ruining eyelets and such trying to figure out which setting works. :sad2:

I've found that the numbers on each side should match (both 1s, for example) then I put the open end of the brad or snap over the "pointy thingy" and see which one gives a better fit. It is usually a clear difference.

well i finally broke down open the package put the eyelet in and i must have put it in backwards and ruined my crop a dile! 1st eyelet out and broke already!!!!!! OMG!!!!! i can't believe i'm that stupid! i could just cry.......
really......:sad1:

I must have an older or newer version than you. One side on mine is numbers and the other side is letters.

Well that's what I get for not pulling the darn thing out before I speak. Yes, of course you're right - its letters and numbers. What I should have said was that in general, 1 and A go together, as do 3 and C. I haven't really used B and D yet so I can't confirm but I imagine they correspond to 2 and 4.
