We just returned from our Disney trip - this time having flown for the first time in 11 years. I'm a nervous flier, so I chose JetBlue because I thought the little TV's would be a nice calming distraction.
We loved it! The seats were roomy - the people reclining in front of us didn't take away from our ample space at all (and we didn't have the 'extra legroom' seats). Our flights were on time, arrived early at each end. Our 1st checked bag each was free and our pre-chosen seats stayed the same through two minor time changes.
As a not so frequent flier - is this airline just better than the rest? If it is, I'm ready to do a lot more flying than I have for a long time :thumbsup2

We love Jetblue as well! Our AAA travel agent turned us on to them and they are all we fly (especially to Disney) if we can help it. All 4 of us have frequent flyer numbers! Just got back from WDW in Florida 2 weeks ago and flew Jetblue. Great prices and comfy seats!

We are Jetblue converts too. :goodvibes Used to fly Southwest, but as long as the price is reasonable, I would pick JB. The tv's, Terra Blue chips & spacious assigned seating are great. We had a mechanical problem on our return flight in Sept. We ended up needing to deplane & reboard onto a different plane. We ended up about 2 1/2 to 3 hours late. Got an email the next morning with $50 credits & an apology. We did not even have to complain or ask; they just sent it. Great customer service!

My new go-to airline since SWA won't fly nonstop MCO/IAD anymore.

Diddo to that comment. I miss the IAD/MCO from Southwest but i like Jetblue for that now and at a really resonable price. Cant wait to go back in February

I notice you are from New England. Did you fly them out of Boston by any chance? We are flying them for the first time in May. The tvs and extra leg room sucked us in too. Hopefully, our experience is as good. We usually fly Southwest and I have gotten sick of the open seating actually. Along with checking in 24 hrs in advance and I don't want to pay the $10 xtra to have them do it. So, Jet Blue it is.

We flew out of Boston and returned to Hartford (return fare was $219 to Logan, but $99 to Hartford) and hired a car service to bring us home. We're in Southeastern Mass. That was one of the flight changes they made, which actually worked out wonderfully for us - there are only a couple of flights a day from Orlando direct to Hartford - originally it was an 8 pm (ish) departure that was changed to 6:20.

How much was a car service from Hartford; if you don't mind me asking?

There were 9 of us, so we had a van - the price they quoted us was just under $300, but since my dad does a lot of business with them we got it for $225. Comfy leather seats, tv, great ride!

JetBlue is awesome - the only airline we fly if we can help it! We'll be flying with them on Monday! :)

I fly them out of Boston and we have always had great experiences. Even on the back end of a huge snowstorm they were still on time and ready to take us to the Bahamas non-stop. I have had no issues with them and they are the preferred airline we use even though MHT is only about 10-15 mins from our house.

Another JetBlue fan here! We used to fly Delta to Disney because at the time it was only them and SW that flew non-stop from Hartford. We tried JetBlue once and loved it, and we’ll be flying them from now on. Love the TV’s, bigger seats and better snacks!

I have friends who really love them as well. Maybe I will get to try them one day when I go somewhere besides Orlando. I live in NC and every flight to MCO I can find goes to NY first.

This is great news for me. Just looking at flights for my June trip. Air Tran wants $1037 (for 4) plus $20 per bag. They only have one flight at 12:00PM not arriving until 2:30PM. This really cuts my day.
Found Jet Blue for $867 no charge for 1st bag and they have a 6:10AM flight arriving at 8:38AM. Seems like a no brainer but I was still apprehensive since I had never flown them. Now I believe I will book!

We also LOVE Jet Blue! We used them in 2010 and the kids loved watching TV during the flight. And I loved the blue chips! :) During our flight home one of the CEO's was on board - he asked the flight crew to have a little trivia contest on board and the winner won round trip tickets anywhere in the US. Unfortunately the winner wasn't ME, but still very cool! :thumbsup2:

Unfortunately this time we are flying SWA down to MCO (can't pick your seats ahead of time which stresses me out - grrrr!!) BUT our return trip to Hartford is with Jet Blue - seats chosen and nothing to worry about!! :cool1:

I also love jetblue.. I have flown a few times with them flying out of Boston.. Flights to and from mco were both ended up being under $100.. i scoped out the flights daily after i purchased them..when the price went down i called them and they gave me the flight for the lower price:thumbsup2

I'm in agreement. JetBlue is awesome. Selling points for me are direct flight from LGA/JFK, leg room, TVs, snacks that are more then a bite, and free check bag. They have my business and their sales are great. I'm flying them in January to Florida.

Hope you booked for that great price. We like the early morning flights too. Great to start vacation with a full day! You'll love Jetblue! :goodvibes
