Debbie with dining reservations is the sweetest!! She is so impressed with everyone on the DIS boards! She told me today that we are the best with organization. I booked all our reservations for the REAS including Palo dinner, brunch, tea and the couples massage and she let me request a specific dining rotation!! She is the greatest!! She even made suggestions regarding some of the times I wanted that made better sense than what I thought I wanted.

And our docs arrived yesterday!! Now it seems all there is to do is WAIT!!!! (and pack)

I agree Debbie is the best! We booked our REAS package reservations this morning also and she made it so easy, she also gave us suggestions for which days and times and let us choose our dining rotation! This is so exciting we cant wait.

Kaitlinsmom, We booked our cruise through TA but called disney directly to add this REAS pkg. I called disney and asked to talk to Debbie/dining coordinator about 11 weeks before upcoming cruise just to see when I could book Palo/Spa ressies and she let me do it then. I was also able to request our dining rotation at that time as well

Just got off the phone with Debbie to complete the REAS package (the spa reservations on the 5/2 Wonder are going quick).
She also made sure that all 3 cabins I booked were on the same Dining schedule, and verified that it was APL rotation.
Remember, she is going to Prague next week to support her son's competition. Call her this week!

Just curious, what kind of competition is her son in?? Prague, wow, that's a far away journey!

The number I used was - 1-800-511-1333 Ext. 67411 -

It didn't ask for an extension - so when the guy answered the reservations line I asked for Debbie and he graciously connected me with her! I love Disney - I have never had a bad experience with anyone I've talked to!!

REAS is Romantic Escape at Sea. From what I understand, it is $299 and includes a couple's massage (for two), dinner at Palo's, a welcome basket, champagne breakfast in bed, and a romantic turn down service with rose petals and chocolates the night you eat at Palo's.
Someone correct me if I am wrong!

Does your cruise have to be paid in full before they will make the reservations for REAS? If final payment is due about 10 weeks prior- would you have to submit payment a little early to do this?

Debbie gets my vote as well - booked mine on Monday. Very professional and customer oriented. There's a reason she's in the position she is - and you know why once you have the privilege of communicating with her. DCL is lucky to have this lady in my opinion. - Mike

You can book the package at any point...you book the ressies as you get closer to your sail date. We booked the package at the time of booking the cruise, and our TA was told that the ressies would be done anytime from 45 days out from the sail date. It happened for us at 30 days.

I believe if you don't have the cruise paid off, you pay this with a credit card?? We just added it to the cost of the cruise, as we booked in Nov. (I think!!) for a Jan/Feb cruise, so there was no time to pay it in installments anyhow.

I wish I had the opportunity to talk to Debbie myself, but my MIL, who is our TA, raved about her the same way you guys are...seems she's consistantly wonderful. They should clone her!

And her son's competition is hockey, I believe?
