My DS9 plays travel hockey here in Nashville. Just since he has been playing (age 4) the sport has grown a ton here, but I am sure is nowhere near what it is like where you are. My DH won't admit it, but I feel certain that one of his hangups on moving back to Charleston are the very limited hockey opportunities our son will have there. We had friends there who had to send their kid to live up north with another family to play at a more competitive level. I can't imagine. My DS eats, sleeps, breathes hockey, so I hate for him not to have a decent level of competition, but I also hate to not move home.

We have probably 15 rinks in any direction within a 20-30 min drive. And of course most of them have a travel team hosted at them. The nice thing is that likely Brady wouldn't ever have to billet with the amount of programs here. That said, my USA boys loved their billet families! They spoiled them! And I know a few families who have billeted and they are great families. So if he had to billet he would be in good hands!
