I love credit cards so much!

I also was told it would be an email and don’t have anything yet.

Oh, that's reassuring then. I was worried something went wrong.

My call lasted 10 mins and 23 secs (I checked my cell phone log) and was painless. I think he knew I wasn't likely to buy anything today. And nobody asked me if I had a Visa or not (I did say I had one though).

I hinted at it earlier. Even made a slight suggestion. Was told there was no way to issue a credit or points for issues. Amex policy and that the supervisor can't do it either. Now I highly doubt that. I will hold off for a bit before I go-a-blazin'.

So, I just looked back at my info...approved 3/28/17 for SPG Amex, met spend by about 5/5/17, FINALLY received the points on statement closing 9/24/17. I guess even they had to concede that the time frame had been a little ridiculous, and decided to reward me ever so slightly for the inconvenience! Fingers crossed you get yours resolved soon!

*sigh*

been helping a friend of mine churn and im starting to feel pretty upsetting about it after trying to steer friend away from getting vgcs because friend wouldnt have a clue how to get rid of it(held onto a $500 mcgc for 6 months)
Offered a chance to earn $20 + 750 UR points, $30 + 4000 marriott points. showed a better MCGC deal, $200, make $4 profit. didnt take it, rather do VGCs... :\
got called a dream killer, got blamed for not finding a the $600 chase bank offer.
1st world churning problems...
sorry, end rant. ill sleep this off tonight.

That’s frustrating...like they say, no good deed goes unpunished :guilty:
At least you tried to help.

Just watch for the SW bonus..if you return anything it will be deducted from the 1k...SW takes about 2 months to post the bonus points to your account..I’m assuming to allow time for returns etc
Yep, that’s why I went with Kohl’s and their generous return policy in case I end up with buyer’s remorse later.

We went and saw fantastic beasts 2 tonight and it was really good! Our movie theater said they no longer accept Amex though....of course. I doubt we will be getting anymore cards with them. We will probably just pay the rest of our hotel in Tokyo without points
That's our plan for tomorrow to see Fantastic Beasts and the book should also be arriving since I pre-ordered it on Amazon. They just renovated a theatre near us so we are going to try the recliner seating, I think.

Darn, I forgot to check the mail when I took the trash out this morning. With the snow yesterday, we didn't leave the house. Hoping my BGR arrives soon since I don't currently have a MSR to complete.

I guess I sounded too interested lol.
ETA: still no email this morning...

It should, and certainly can't hurt to try
Only downside is I might "lose" $12.50. If they don't stack and I only get the lower offer (for me that would be the 10%), I might get $7.50 credit instead of $20 credit. Not the end of the world, but I was switching from my normal Hicktory Farms order to H&D this year just due to the $20 credit offer. I'll still order my pears but not $75 worth!

Yikes, need SW flights to Seattle next summer. Schedule just opened up and those are HIGH. I really need the CP or fly another airline.

Last Chase card was 9/18 so should be ok for the SW Personal card. I feel like I should jump on that before Biz, just in case the link to the 50K offer goes away. Decisions, decisions,....

My plan was to go for the SW biz in a few weeks and then the personal a month or so later. But now I want to chance the DOC link for 50,000 on the personal before it goes away.

I did the DD end of August and they ended up cutting the CL on my CSP to $5000, about a month later (left the CSR alone) I also have a CIP that I got in May 2018. And a Freedom I got in 2011.
I had planned on lowering my CLs before going for SW, but haven’t yet.
What are the consequences of going for it now and getting denied? Would it effect my chances at all for going for them in the future? Any other negatives?

Today's insomnia has been productive so far: my booking window opened for my Disney cruise in January so I got Palo brunch and a mojito tasting as activities

I hear you! DD was up late studying so we were ALL up late:sad1: On the bright side, I was able to log into Delta and Amex, see an award ticket for DH from CDG to ATL next October (ABD trip) and transfer MRs to snag his seat on the nonstop flight. Super happy that's done. Three cheers for insomnia:rolleyes:

And up at 3:19 a.m....

ETA: Woken up by a dream that Chase closed my CSP from a double dip. I don’t even have a CSP. I’m in too deep, guys.

:rotfl:
