Is the reservation currently booked together under one reservation or are they separate reservations? I think if it is one reservation, you will need to call SW to make the adjustment. If they are separate, it’s super easy since you can just cancel and go into the reservation and add the companion as long as there is any seat left (which there should be since some just freed one up )

It hasn't yet and his 1st statement closed on 10/28, so he "appears" to be 4/24 right now (even though I know he's 5/24 with the Gold). I was going to try for something - haven't decided what card exactly yet - before 11/28. Maybe the Cap1 Venture 75,000 offer...

7x hilton props, 5x restaurants, gas stations, supermarkets, 3x everything else
I'm clueless on how Hilton Honors Bonus points stack up.

They can definitely cancel one person off the reservation, then add them as a companion...hope you booked with points so they go back into your account....if you booked with cash you may want to wait until the end of next year to go for the companion pass

That’s where we typically stayed for our weekend visits to a Hersheypark and OC but now that I am collecting Marriott points, ours have been sitting idle.

There just needs to be an open seat on the plane..at any fare not just WGA...SW can’t switch the existing reservation to a companion ticket. You would have to cancel their reservation then add them to yours as your companion

Did you book with dollars or RR points....if RR points they go back in your account...if you booked with $$ the credit has to be used within a year of when the flights were booked by the person your cancelling the ticket for

FYI - if that reservation is booked with points, Southwest CAN switch it to a companion fare in my experience (even if a seat is NOT available on that flight). You have to call and get the right rep to do it though.

Shoutout to Citi Presale Access... I just got me, DH, and my best friend tickets to see Muse in DC next April with my Citi card!! The tickets go on sale to the public tomorrow and I am confident the concert will sell out almost immediately, as their other tour dates that are available for purchase are sold out. I don't know if we got a special rate for the tickets, but the price seemed really great on them for floor seats, which is what I wanted. I've wanted to see this band since I was 13 years, so I'm VERY excited for this!

Agree..they have done it for me once a while ago but cautioned me it’s a cancellation and rebooking so it could disappear...

I’m not all the way caught up so this may have been addressed, but I just bought a few variable load Disney gc a few hours ago at BB. I think they also had fixed denominations but I can’t remember what (I’m pretty sure $50).

She was a grumpy gus lol! We said we’d split 2/2/2 or 3/3 and yet she called people who checked in way after us. I had to let the hammer down on her and I’m normally really nice but she ticked me off with her initial disgust at seeing kids.

Yes - all are booked on points - so I figure getting the companion pass will net me almost 150k points inc MSR, spend, and returned points.

Excellent !! ...we fly SW all the time ...booking with RR points plus the CP has save us a lot of $$ over the years...along with the flexibility of the RR points

It's really going to depend on where you think you may be using them. Most places I was looking had normal redemptions in the 35-50k per night range, but of course where I'm looking to use them next year I keep finding high points redemptions for reasonably priced rooms
I mostly see average valuations of .5 cpp so 100k sign up bonus could be roughly $500 worth of room rates - assuming you get a good redemption. The points aren't tied directly to the cash price and there's no set chart like Stariott.

I think I just completed the bonus $1k for SW RR Shopping. Made a purchase from Kohl’s on that I may or may not keep.

And I have 3 Chase Pay transactions for I need to complete the final 2.

@disneymagicgirl i thought Walmart.com via SW RR worked with GCs but it looks like I was mistaken. I’ve tried twice and neither of the transactions tracked
