Check your emails - $40 Disney GC for those with a Disney Visa who call and do a DVC phone tour. Call is 20 minutes. Can't already be an owner. Call 888-627-3509 if you have a Disney Visa.

Apologies if already posted - I don't have time to go backward on the thread right now.

DH has one. Wonder if I could call with his card.

Another RMN shutdown both accounts. I agree it’s prob getting those with multiple accounts using same device. I knew something was up because my last few purchases went to pending and never posted. I was banned from PayPal in the heyday so this seems like small potatoes.....
I also wonder if that is it. No emails yet for us, and I've only had once, maybe twice that I had DH along and we both did a RMN deal at Staples...

It must be a premium room reward. I was looking at a suite there and the cash price was very reasonable but since it is a premium room reward, the points price was astronomical. So annoying how that works. The beach hotel we were just at was the same way with their suites.

You're right. I went back to check and it looks like a picture or a regular room, but is listed as a pure wellness room. That points number really scared me.

Count me in. Just got emails for my and DW’s accounts. I’m not going to bother appealing as the offers haven’t been that great lately, and the fact that RMN is shutting down accounts suggests to me they know what’s going on, which probably doesn’t bode well for future offers, getting gift card purchases to credit, or cash out policies.

I just got the notice for the other account. Too bad because I had $35 pending in that one. Bummer!

Excellent way to finish off any AMEX 10% offers too, I think.

Based on @Haley R's experience which changing statement dates...I would NOT do that!

I'm in the same boat as you.

As I understand it, from your statement dates any spend you put on the SW Biz card AFTER December 16 should count toward your 2019-2020 CP. But, for me, I'm waiting until 1/01/2019 to put any spend on my cards LOL. I got burned last year with my AMEX BCP 6% cash back at grocery stores - AMEX changed the terms from the statement ending in December to the calendar year. So the $1000+ I put on my AMEX BCP in December after my statement date (thinking that it would go toward 2019 grocery category) I only got 1% on instead of the 6% I was expecting based on how AMEX did it in years past.

I know they are separate banks/issuers, but I'm not going to take a chance on Chase changing their terms to my detriment.

And just a couple more newbie questions if anyone could help: My "next statement date" for SW Biz is 11/16 (not sure what it will be for the Plus since I just got approved today). Should I change it? Also is the statement closing date the same as the "next statement date"?
I had adjusted mine last year to 1/1 and 1/3 but for whatever reason, SW took forever to post the points from early in the month and people who had mid month dates and their points and CP before me. So I would not be adjusting my dates.[/QUOTE]

You want to make sure you hit the MSR after your December statements close or after 1/1 to be safe .....based on previous posters issues with changing their statement date...I wouldn’t do it
Roger that. I won’t change my statement date. Would you all advise against trying to hit say $2500 on the Biz and $1500 in 2018 and the final $500 and $500 in January or am I playing with fire here?

Amex must not like me...SPG Lux opened, I think, August 25th...maybe 29th. Still have ZERO points in my SPG/Marriott Account. I also just tried to transfer some MR points to Marriott and got the message "This action will not be completed at this time because your account is currently being reviewed to make sure all eligible purchases meet qualifying criteria."

I think that is perfectly safe and that's what I did last year in mid Dec after I knew for sure that my Dec statement had closed. So you make those final purchases right after Christmas let's say. Make sure you account for all purchases. If you return something that purchase already counts and you wouldn't subtract that out. So if you had $1300 in purchases on 12/1 and return something for $200 on 12/2 you are still at $1300 in spend. People have got burned on the returns and thinking they needed to deduct them and then they go make a purchase that pushes them to MSR and the bonus points credit in the wrong year.

I’m seeing a new Amex Offer on my wife’s SPG Biz for Spend $250 or more [in a single purchase], Get $50 back at Lowe’s, expires 12/31/18. Should stack well with the Get 10% back, up to $100, at Lowe’s Amex Offer that expires 11/30/18.

ETA: Not available on any of my Amex cards. Seems highly targeted.

I got all excited when I logged into check my SPG Biz (since I haven't finished off the 10% either) and I had new offers available. It turned swiftly to disappointment as it was more WINE and somewhere called Lulus. Outside of the Lowe's and Staples 10% off, I've used exactly 4 offers on my SPG Biz for $70 back. So far I wouldn't have broke even on the fee and haven't used it at a SPG/Marriott/RC location so if they hadn't added the anniversary night it would have been a very easy decision to chop it.

Ugh...I thought mine not being posted 3 days after statement close was bad...

As long as you don't go by net purchases on your statements. Chase is only counting spend to auto post the bonus, so if you spend $3000 and return $500 for a net of $2500 your bonus will most likely post on that statement. If you can be diligent about only adding and not subtracting your numbers you should be ok.

Any of you guys done the Disney GC at Best Buy? someone in another group claims BB doesnt sell Disney cards no more.
Can any confirm or deny?

I’ve been buying Disney GCs from BBY all week, including last night.

I bought one this week. They had the $50 ones and variable load up to $500. I would think it varies by store.

I was also at BB last night, and they have plenty on the rack. $25 to variable loads up to $500.
