if I apply for the southwest biz today can I also apply for the personal with these links later today? Or will that mess things up?

You can IF you get approved today for the business card. For the business card you need to be under 1/30 and the personal you can get approved for after as long as you are under 2/30.

It will most likely mess things up..Chase has been cancelling the second card applied for on the same day....so I would not recommend applying for both on the same day.
Apply for the business card first....after it’s approved....then you can apply for the personal...

I would agree with @palhockeymomof2.

Apply for the SW Biz first because of the 1/30 rule — you can be approved for a Chase biz card only if you have less than 1 Chase app (zero) in the past 30 days. (And a biz card won’t add to 5/24.) Applying for the SW personal first would preclude approval for the SW Biz for another 30 days. Once you get approved for the SW Biz, then go for a SW personal because personal cards can be approved under 2/30. Chase rarely gives instant approval for biz cards, so you may not be approved for the SW Biz on the same day you applied. If you get approved for the SW Biz on a different than your application date, you can apply for a SW personal right after approval. I would not apply for the SW personal on the same day you applied for the SW Biz, and risk Chase closing one for double dipping.
 
Just autoapproved for southwest biz. Hopefully these links stay active for another day or two so I can get the personal
I had my friend go for the personal today due to this link.... she plans to go for the biz in a month or so - she's like 3/24

check your chase acct page -if it goes thru it;ll be on there quickly
 
It must be a premium room reward. I was looking at a suite there and the cash price was very reasonable but since it is a premium room reward, the points price was astronomical. So annoying how that works. The beach hotel we were just at was the same way with their suites.

Your not kidding on the premium rooms. We are going to book a suite at a DoubleTree and I thought, 'oh we have all these points maybe I can get a night on points instead!'. Given the location and timing of when we're going $250 for a suite is pretty reasonable but they want 137,000 points for it! At least double what the standard rooms are but the suites cash-wise isn't much more than the standards. We'll be paying cash instead (and racking up the points on the Hilton card)

I have my points pending from the Best Buy purchase. I got a prepaid phone card for this one. Not sure what I'm going to pick for my SPG account (I've got a few BB&B GC's still floating around so I stopped myself on that :) ), but given how I completed the purchase I'm fairly confident it won't work with Cashstar so there goes my Petco plan unless I spot something with a good price. Was hoping for something better than 1 pt / $ but at least Best Buy seems easy. I got my 1000 bonus but not the 25% on top of the purchase for being a credit card holder. Trying to decide if I send in a support ticket for 7 Stariott points :rolleyes:

For the RMN shutdowns, at first glance I'm thinking it's less the gift card purchases and more using 2 accounts at the same time. Even though they're for separate people it probably looks like it's the same person who made multiple accounts given the transaction history and especially if both are linked to the same paypal account. That's my theory until we hear of single accounts getting shutdown too. (unless I missed one?)

Could maybe try to prove you are two people who just happen to shop together (and I do know some people who still share a smartphone, although they're in the extreme minority now). I didn't think it said anything about one per household, but I could have missed it since I only planned to use one account anyway.
 
Count me in. Just got emails for my and DW’s accounts. I’m not going to bother appealing as the offers haven’t been that great lately, and the fact that RMN is shutting down accounts suggests to me they know what’s going on, which probably doesn’t bode well for future offers, getting gift card purchases to credit, or cash out policies.
Just got a notice that my DH's RMN account has been suspended for fraudulent activities. Anyone else receive this message before? All my transactions have been gift cards and none have been returned. Nothing was pending and the last transaction was on 10/24. Wondering if it is because I log in and out of the two accounts? Just hope they don't shut down my primary one!
Yep just came here to post that I received this too! Unfortunately I got the email on both my account and my "DH" account. All of my transactions have been gift cards, and we racked up pretty good in September. Nothing in October. And I recently hit the CVS offer once for a gift card (split payment with DH's card $10-$10) and again this week for Rx payment (again split payment). Wondering whether to appeal for at least one account....?
So far no emails for DH and me. I did have some that were actual purchases like Macy's and Kohl's and I have been using their site for some site for online and other offers so I wonder if that helps. I'll keep a look-out though.

No shutdown email for me yet. Almost all exclusively gift cards, but only one account.

I just received the same notice on 3 accounts. So I guess I lose out on the $20 cash back from Home Depot.
